Looks destined not to score in 2024 after his volley hits Foden and he then hits the bar
Oh wow, I knew it was bad but I didn’t know it was that bad.

Honestly get him out. That is utterly shambolic. He was kicking off about not going to the Euros. Bang average player, we only signed him because of that 7-2 against Liverpool, I’m sure of it.

He had a very sccoreable one in front of where I sit at 3 nil but instead of hitting it just pissed about with it. So hesitant near goal.
Would have put the game to bed at 4 nil.

He has never got those numbers though, so surely nobody is surprised he hasn't all of a sudden become this goalscoring winger people expect.

Pep wanted him, badly enough to break transfer records and waited several weeks for him to sign. It wasn't for his goal scoring was it.
Obviously, we wanted him because we thought he’d be like KDB. I was completely hopeful about that. But unfortunately, he’s a flop.

Sell him and give Napoli the 130M they want for the Georgian.
Napoli isn’t getting £110M for Kvara—they’ll get less. Kvara is pushing for a move out or his running down his contract, and if he signs a new one, it’ll likely include a reasonable release clause. He is in the position of power. The only thing DeLaurentiis can do, is be stubborn and hold him hostage till that contract runs out, either way, it is a win for kvara. I think he would want something for him. Napoli is getting major bad vibes on how they treat players that are looking to depart.

Kvara would be good but he is not a high priority for me. Midfield is the one that needs the most attention. And although I said we are good for defenders (still are to a point) another one wouldn't be a bad call for the new DoF. As for Grealish, I do agree it might be time to move him on in the next couple of seasons.

Next couple of months

I’d probably want to harm myself too if I’d bought Grealish for £100 million and paying him £300k in wages.

the defenders in question:

finished walker
stones and ake who are never fit
dias with knocks
rico who is hardly a defender
overplayed gvardiol
akanji

over half of them are near 30 or older

Centre backs I was talking about. Walker should be phased out in the summer at the earliest. But again we can't afford to cut too many seniors in one go.

one CB and a walker replacement is badly needed, ake and stones cant be relied upon

Midfield is top priority. Get better protection to our centre backs and we would be under less pressure although I can't disagree with the injury issues. Rodri has to be eased in gradually.

I am afraid that you have not get the general picture here. There are more players wanting out rather than begging for staying. It was said not one but several players were held back by high asking price because Tikki feared he could not recruit the replacement. Kev for 100M Grealish 70M Walker 30M that was Tikki asking price. And he knew no one would pay that much.

The lawsuit certainly did not do Tikki any favour in the market. Although I have every faith in City, it is understandable that players and their agents don't want to take the risk.

But if we still lose too many at once and having an inexperienced side that hasn't won the league is counterproductive too.
