Tickets for what?Have just tried to buy an extra ticket for my son , and despite the criteria now being on the second release and members or season ticket holders being able to buy up to 3 tickets I am getting the error message that I have too many tickets allocated to me on my season ticket log in despite only trying to but 1, unless I am misunderstanding the criteria?
Rag N Bone man.Tickets for what?
ForrestTickets for what?
The only positive is a 7.30 kick off but that won’t suit everyone.Think there'll be loads of spares & empty seats for this, close to Xmas, poor form, night game which I assume is on the telly, likely coming sadly on the back of our usual poor result at the dips etc.
Just had a look and I'm able to purchase 3 through my Season Ticket so you're definitely not misunderstanding the criteria.Have just tried to buy an extra ticket for my son , and despite the criteria now being on the second release and members or season ticket holders being able to buy up to 3 tickets I am getting the error message that I have too many tickets allocated to me on my season ticket log in despite only trying to but 1, unless I am misunderstanding the criteria?
Poor form shouldnt be a reason for not supporting the team.Think there'll be loads of spares & empty seats for this, close to Xmas, poor form, night game which I assume is on the telly, likely coming sadly on the back of our usual poor result at the dips etc.
Don't get me wrong I'll be there but, we both know lots will find an excuse to duck out.Poor form shouldnt be a reason for not supporting the team.
The team needs supporting more than ever
at times like this when they are decimated by injuries, misforune and a drop in confidence.
Its our duty !!
Poor quality opponents shouldn't be a reason for swerving a game either.Poor form shouldnt be a reason for not supporting the team.

I get that, but a lot of fans get pissed off with it. The club want “legacy” fans in the ground for Brugge, Feyenoord or Southampton, but then want those same fans to take a back seat when we play Real Madrid or Arsenal, so the tourists, corporate’s, social media influencers etc can have the tickets. Why should they be prepared to do that???Poor quality opponents shouldn't be a reason for swerving a game either.
Fans who want to watch us play Real Madrid rather than Bruges or Feyenoord, or Arsenal rather than Southampton, are no better than tourists and/or general glory seekers.
I don't think the club put tourists ahead of legacy fans, they just make it too expensive for many. Corporates are a known problem, social media influencers are a fucking disgrace to society and have to be stopped unless they have the points to buy tickets.I get that, but a lot of fans get pissed off with it. The people who attend the lesser games should be first in line for the bigger games.
I’m going to have to agree to disagree with you on that point. It’s not just cost, they have eliminated virtually all previous purchase history for the biggest games. If it’s all about cost, they could still sell the tickets on a points basis, so the “legacy” fans still get first refusal at the rip off prices, the fact that they don’t says to me they want as many tourists in the ground as possible. The Real Madrid fiasco the season before last where they sold the tickets to any fucker was widely condemned, they pathetically tried to claim they didn’t realise that was going to happen even though everybody else knew it was. Last season they were forced into a bit of a climb down but still implemented the barest minimum of previous purchase they could get away with.I don't think the club put tourists ahead of legacy fans, they just make it too expensive for many. Your final line sums up my feelings about who should get tickets. The problem is the prices set by the club.
I know they gave City fans limited opportunity to buy for the Madrid semi, but are there other examples of this? Genuine question as I'm on all cup scemes so don't see the problems at first hand.I’m going to have to agree to disagree with you on that point. With regards to the social media influencers, what a pr coup it could have been for the club if they’d told dick heads like that Speed or that Chelsea slapper you’re not having tickets for the Real Madrid game last season. Instead, they couldn’t give them to them quick enough.
A similar example would be every single season they release all the Premier League home tickets at once, with bare minimum criteria for the "big 6" games and the last day. Usually you only have to have attended a game at the Etihad in the previous 2 seasons or 5 for united/Liverpool. For all other games there is no criteria beyond being a matchday member so it is a free for all with hours of queues.I know they gave City fans limited opportunity to buy for the Madrid semi, but are there other examples of this? I struggle with the concept of City's ticket office knowing what they are doing after 55 years of utter chaos. The City v Real Madrid, CL, semi-final, ticket sale was like the Oasis reunion ticket sale, open to everyone and anyone. The only difference being, City didn’t implementing dynamic selling. I bet they wish they had. City knew exactly what they were doing. Don’t kid yourselfs they didn’t.
