PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

This forum is better informed than anyone including the media. Of course we are biased but we have read the documents and analysed the case in depth. So far there have been no leaks that suggest any evidence of wrongdoing. We have a lot of enemies but all we have seen so far is the usual fake news,

Entitlement and jealousy in business driving our enemies on, and so the bullshit from their friendly media whores continues to be prominent atm.

Let's see how the land lies once the outcome of the case is known.

Hopefully, a conclusive and positive outcome which delivers a crushing blow for the conspiring clubs hoping to see us ruined and thus eliminated.

The fucking yanks don't win every war .................

Don't care it's banter and the more the better.

We were more than happy to take the piss out of Klopp when he left and when they blew up at the end of last season.

Football is banter, passion and everything that comes with that, the game is already going sterile as it is and it's not something that is good for it.
Slott is not a fanboy in the pub. He is the public face of a multi billion pound organisation. I understand your point. I used to love the antics of Brian Clough back in the day. But this legal battle is a different context. Liverpool have behaved unethically by briefing the media against us for years. It could destroy our club.

it seems like with the scousers though it’s got to a point that it’s never just a joke.

Imagine if Pep made a joke about when they play at the Etihad we need extra security so they don’t hack us again.

Would the dippers take it as a joke? Or would it be, you’re stereotyping us as thieves and them playing the victim card.
Look at what Ortega said and how that went down.
It’s hard to joke with people who can’t take a joke themselves.

What FSG have been doing behind the scenes for years to damage City Football Group is not a joke.

Don’t disagree with the points you’re making but as City supporters, down the years we have always been able to laugh at ourselves, we shouldn’t lose that. I had no issue with Slot’s joke, I had no issue with them singing “sacked in the morning” - it was all the funnier because we, and they, knew it wasn’t going to happen.
….and if the situations were reversed would City fans not have been singing the same thing?

With the sacked in the morning chant I don’t have an issue.
Everyone does it and Peps reaction was great.

However, when the subject matter joked about will put people’s jobs at risk and potentially put our clubs future at risk I’m not too happy.
Especially coming from the manager of a club which has pushed for these charges and used their former players, managers and fans in the media to portray our club as all that is evil within football. To me It doesn’t feel like a joke it feels more sinister than that.

But look that’s just my view and I’m just sick of the constant 115 allegations. So maybe I need thicker skin and a sense of humour.

Or perhaps see the dippers and the other cartel members crushed and fucked off ?

The clubs wielding the power within the PL are the real enemy of football, in the name of greed and control.

I’d of been more worried if they sand ‘you’re gonna walk in the morning’

I hear jokes about the 115 and what will happen all the time, if it was the other way around I'd be making them They really don't bother me. When we are cleared we can do all the joking and laughing back we like.
If on the other hand we aren't cleared then a few jokes will be the least of our worries.

The long game for the Cartel is a super league without City in it. They are on track. Going back 15 years to attack City for totally legal payments to a former Manager of just £2.75m a year proves that the campaign against us is malicious.
don't think they care if we're in it or not.
they probably want us in it as they need all the current teams.
they just want to make a lot of money with reduced risk.
and no doubt they plan to have vice like control.

actually the yanks might be in for a shock when they try to manipulate the likes of Barcelona and Madrid

Same pretty much. Most of the time I tell them it's a complicated case and nobody knows what the outcome will be but secretly I'm waiting for the day when the judgment gives us little to no sanctions either on the case or its appeal so that I can laugh my cock off at them and quote back all their stupid fucking text messages or whatever

Could but won't and they know it.

They are jealous, revel and rejoice in that.

Let them enjoy their 15 minutes because we will be back and better than ever.

One thing I will say about the last few weeks, it's been fucking awful, I thought when our cycle was coming to an end I would be ok and grateful for an incredible dream period of dominance and titles, I was wrong, I want more, far more and thankfully our execs are the same.

Come back stronger, better and the dippers and all are having it properly.

I don't know what evidence (if any!) the PL have got to support their claim that City have breached PL regulations 115 times over a period of god knows how many years but I'd be astonished, and actually delighted, if their evidence was nothing more that a series of Jamie Jackson's questions, jokes from players and managers and articles from English newspapers (or emails from German comics). No one who had ever dreamt of being a lawyer, let alone experienced KCs and retired judges, would take any of it seriously. So the main stream media can rant and roar all they like. We can't command them to like us but they can't do anything about us. City will be judged on hard evidence and nothing else. So, I think we should calm down a bit and not be so sensitive. Slot was good humoured and joking. And if he wasn't it doesn't matter. Sticks and stones and all that.

I hate to put a downer on what you say but sadly that can't be the case, this has gone on far too long and at enormous cost for both sides and caused enormous damage to us and the PL.

I do think we are innocent but the PL must have something to go this far.

Both sides needs this over ASAP.

And if what you say is remotely true the PL and Co will have their butts sued for 100s of millions from our execs, and they will be paying for our team rebuilds for the next century.

If we win our next two games, this season’s six-game slump (LLLLWW) would see us 2 points better off than last season’s (LLDDDD)

Two clean sheets and 16 goals against Forest and Palace and our GD will be the same too ;)

Context wise it's important to remind people this is largely media hysteria. The results have been spread across three competitions. But equally, the number of goals we're conceding and our inability to take chances is a worrying trend that wasn't there last season. We lost Rodri, lost at Wolves 2-1 in a game they had one shot on target and we had 8 from 23 shots in total. Lost to Arsenal in a game where we were toothless but they only had 2 shots on target before getting absolutely battered by Villa. We had some injuries, we'd lost Rodri to suspension but it was only the Villa game where we were absolutely battered.

That's not true this time around, yet two wins and it doesn't matter what's gone before!

You say that, but that was about the extent of what UEFA presented to CAS.
