Nottingham Forest (H) | Post Match Thread

Another good performance by Ortega, and Pep's decision to change keeper has been fully justified.

Loads of positives from tonight, notably KDB and Doku - if we can get a bit more end product from him, he will be truly special.

Hopefully we patch them up and put a good enough 11 out again at the weekend to get 3 points at Palace.
So a goal and an assist is not enough, what else does Doku have to do, prey tell

Obviously far better performance and a confidence builder.
Better teams would have taken those chances and 2-2 would have tested our resilience.
Kev is the lynchpin of the team -shame he's in the twilight of his career.
Forrest have had really good season so far they are not a top team but they have been effective

Just got to enjoy Kevin while we still can, he was brilliant tonight.

Grealish in midfield was great too. Hopefully that worries Phil in the right way and when he gets over his illness, he comes back more the player of last season than what we’ve seen recently.

I work in Nottingham, I’m going to enjoy going into the office tomorrow :)

That’s the performance we all wanted, the hunger evident from minute one. If anyone else wants to win this league they are going to have to fucking take it from us my friends.

Now, where’s that title race thread?

It should have been six. How many teams would have scored Gundog's header 'n Gvardiol's miss? And their keeper had a couple of fingertip saves but though I wouldn't say we played well we were better! Good thumping goals from Kev n Jezzer! I can't see a single game this season where we field our strongest teeam.

Oh, and it just raised my spirit in the second half that Dogshite Oliver had a chance to refresh his understanding of what the LotG deem a foul. Every fuckin' nudge on a red shirt brought a free whilst we could be clattered and he'd play on. Jack even went to him to show that his leg was near hanging off after one tackle.

This by a country mile was jacks finest game. Why ??
Because at long last Pep must have listened to me and played him in his rightly place as a midfielder.
Never in a million years was Jack ever a winger but what a performance tonight from the Midlands Merauder.
Brilliant Jack and once again Pep many thanks for listening to me. ;)
This was why I voted for him as Man Of The Match. 3 or 4 players had a superb night, but this was the reason I chose him rather than one of the others. Because of where he was playing. The others were all playing in the position they pretty much always play for us.
