Am I the only one who thinks Grealish was never a winger - played in middle for Villa and should be same at City - 2 years wasted stuck out on the wing

I wouldn't say 2 years wasted, The year we won the Treble he was unplayable, It was his best ever season asides the trophies, It was his best football.

I wouldn’t get over the top with that performance. It stops the poor run of form but Forest had plenty of chances in that first half and we were at home.

They did beat Liverpool away so they're definitely a team that can cause problems to anyone.

Loads better overall. We looked really good going forward at times and it was enjoyable to watch. On the downside we gifted Forest most of their chances. Hope Ake and Akanji are not out with anything that will keep them sidelined.

Thank goodness Wood missed a big opportunity to level for Forest at 1-0. The atmosphere could have changed if he scored and it may have affected the team.

Win at Palace now and the team can get a roll going. The fans can get the Poznan going and announce to the PL we are back.

Yep. That was huge. If that goes in you’d have worried for us after the last month. Plus the Grealish block to save a certain goal. Got the run of the green there but was a much better performance.

A consistent back 5 would do wonders. Unfortunately the injuries just keep coming

I wonder if they all are mentally and physically exhausted so they are prone to injuries and poor decisions.

The lot of them should have come down with a cold for the international break.

Some defensive mistakes aside, that was an excellent performance. Could have been 5:1 City.

Doku's ceiling is top 5 in the world. Dias was a proper leader. Gundo did very well, but has always been a bit too subtle for some fans to properly appreciate him, who always focus on what he lacks than on what he gives.

Jack was excellent. Kevin was like his old self. Bernardo too.

Agreed, but a couple of reinforcements in january and we should be in a good position for that and hopefully a good cup run

Much improved today. Still questions as to our pace defending. Several times we looked confused at the back when they were running at us. Gundogan much better game tho he had one bad giveaway. Liked Grealish playing in the middle. Doku played much better. KDB looked good. I'm liking Ortega at the moment. He had huge one-handed save that likely would have given Forest a road back into the game. Need to keep this going against Palace.

Maybe even top 3! He's only 22. At his age Salah was still no more than a promising player. Mane too.

Much depends on whether he can improve on his shooting. He has the best manager in the world to coach him. Sky is the limit.
