Nottingham Forest (H) | Post Match Thread

Some defensive mistakes aside, that was an excellent performance. Could have been 5:1 City.

Doku's ceiling is top 5 in the world. Dias was a proper leader. Gundo did very well, but has always been a bit too subtle for some fans to properly appreciate him, who always focus on what he lacks than on what he gives.

Jack was excellent. Kevin was like his old self. Bernardo too.
Top 5 of Left wingers or top 5 of best players in world?

Got to say I am not seeing either.

This by a country mile was Jacks finest game. Why ??
Because at long last Pep must have listened to me and played him in his rightly place as a midfielder.
Never in a million years was Jack ever a winger but what a performance tonight from the Midlands Marauder.
Brilliant Jack and once again Pep many thanks for listening to me. ;)

Clean sheet! Great three points for us and much needed. Good performance too. Grealish, KDB and Doku all very good. Gundogan played well too, caught a few times but over all good.
We looked much better than we have for some time, moved the ball quicker and not so much slow side to side stuff. We need to build on this now. They were very physical but we held the ball well.

Not a problem for me. It’s a bigger problem for you if you are comparing him to Salah.

The point of the comparison was that people may underestimate the full potential of a player based on his performances at 22.

Many on here underestimated Rodri when he was 25 y.o. Some still don't get it why he's the best in the world. So, it's not a surprise that many underestimate Doku. Some are just a bit slow :)

Miles more involved, like his Villa days

Good night at the office. The clean sheet is almost as important as the three points. Jack did well in the middle. Ortega is reassuringly solid. Crisis over.

20 game winning streak incoming ? No almost certainly not but it might not need anything like that to put us in contention come Easter time. Long way to go yet

*Big Erling hasn’t scored for a couple of games. He isn’t interested, contributes nothing, wants a transfer blah blah blah. Crisis back on.
