Lewis shared some blame for the first one as well

Even though he managed a goal he dragged the team down. The only positive is that he is better than Walker.
I think we go over the top about Lewis. He is a high energy player. Thats it. He scored a goal. We need 10 a season from him.He is easily knocked of the ball which has been costly at times. Only Pep knows whether he is worth holding onto so Ill go with it atm.

Laugh all you want but i'd rather we didn't turn into Wengers latter Arsenal days.
Of course, i didn't mean i'd walk away if we didn't win the title, i just meant i don't see why sides celebrate coming 2nd, 3rd or 4th.
I have no problem with not winning trophies, it happens, i just wouldn't celebrate finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th
It's a sad fact of football, but finishing in the top four is worth celebrating as the cash generated by the CL is well worth having, and being in the CL helps to attract top players.
FA Cup or top four? I'd sooner win the cup, but don't fancy rattling around in a quarter-empty Etihad for Thursday League games.

His age isn't irrelevant though. All young players have a dip. You're right, the fact he is here there and everywhere is on the club, but it shouldn't be a stick to beat the kid with. I agree he wouldn't be in my starting 11 if all are fit, but I think he's a more than capable squad player as he has proven in the previous two seasons.
he isnt good enough for where we want to be...he is average defender and a below average midfielder...

does he get in Arsenals back four or the scousers back 4 - no
does he get in liverpools midfield or back 4. - no.
does he get in villas - no
fuck - i doubt he would get in the rags team in either area

What a spoilt lad you are,4 draws 7 wins from our last 11 away, unbelievable.
I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. My point is that because of how dominant we've been under Pep, Palace getting four draws in 11 could be considered a bogey team for ours, which they have.

We have to accept we will struggle all season in the league and our best chance will be in the cup
injuries and loss of form have bitten our arse big time, Pep's ideal squad size is always asking for trouble. So with the backbone players at the club being over 30 and playing far too much football on both club level and international levels injuries and burnout were always coming.

All we can do is hang in and get right behind the players and Pep because they have given us a tremendous period of success and deserve our backing and support,

Yes, everybody hates to lose or face struggles and results not going our way, but if you're into football and support Manchester City you should know we don't demand glory
Good post. Reasonably happy with a draw after being down twice but performance pretty average. The team really has to move the ball quicker

For a team that plays possession football Haalands contribution in open play is just not good enough. He seemed to be more involved midweek. Reverted to type today.
No wonder everyone is knackered it’s s like we’re playing with 10 men.

Dug something out of a shit day which is to be admired, Kyle has been a brilliant player for us but it’s fair to say he’s costing us way more than any gains, I feel a bit for Rico who’s being played in positions way above his abilities and he was pretty grim to watch getting him muscled out of the game but the lad is a fucking trier and smashed that goal.

Unbeaten in two on we March to five in a row :-)

Why would I watch a game I know we're not going to perform in. I've watched us play under Pep for nine seasons, I know when we're going to stink out the gaff, rather spend 2hrs in peace.
What a pile of crap ..FFS so if we were losing every week you would stop watching us..
I wouldn't miss a game either being there or watching it somehow.
Definitely a strange opinion if you are a blue

So many balls given away. Happy to come away with a draw to be honest. Gundogan looked like his former self. Rico loves to fall down, he just isn’t physically capable at this level. I love how people think our squad over the years has been overly stacked with talent but this is pretty much the same team bar 1 or 2 players.

Haaland also cannot play every game, even if he doesn’t get hurt, he may need a rest, what was the plan once we let Alvarez leave ?
Agree on Rico. Lots of energy but what else?

Terrible refereeing. Just seen the foul on Rico so he sends Rico off.
Paul Robinson said it was a stinker - decision, that is, not the tackle. I've not seen the 'foul' yet but I bet a pie to a pot of Bovril that it was no worse than some of the stuff where Forest just got away with a free kick! I've said it before, probably after every fuckin' game for the last five seasons, and I'll say it again, there's two ways where games, clubs and seasons can be manipulated. One is the time added on, or not added on, and the second is the flashing of yellow cards. The latter is so noticeably variable, not between each ref, but even by the same ref in the same half! Bent as a nine-Krone note!

He goes over the top, unintentionally to be fair, on Rico.
