Highlighted most at Spurs earlier in the season. They got a corner after 40 seconds of the game and it wasn’t taken until the 2 minute mark.Arsenal are brilliant at set pieces, but won't make many friends with the amount of time it takes to actually take them
I hadn't noticed until Martin Keown referenced this deliberate tactic whilst commentating at their CL game in Porto last season, but if a corner gets headed out for another corner the ball is literally out of play for 2 minutes.
The match officials never seem to include it when calculating the added time, especially today when only 5 minutes were given (despite it taking almost 3 minutes from Saka's "winning" goal to it being disallowed)
Boring.
