Club World Cup - Summer 2025

Email just dropped.

Not that I'm going but it states each code can buy upto 4 tickets. Does that mean I could take Mrs Moon even though she's only got a supporters number?

It looks like to get a code to buy in the City end you need either a ST or a membership.

Although I image pretty much everybody who’s going will know a ST holder who isn’t. So would be easy enough to assign one to them and order two codes.

My Plan, God and Pep willing.

Arrive Sun 5pm New York, train to Philadelphia.

Monday, June 16 -

Flamengo vs. Esperance de Tunis, 9 p.m. (Philadelphia)

Tuesday, June 17 -

Fluminense vs. Borussia Dortmund, 12 p.m. (East Rutherford)

Wednesday, June 18 -

Manchester City vs. Wydad AC, 12 p.m. (Philadelphia)

Thursday, June 19 - Fly home pm

Dont think I can stretch to the other City games on a financial or physical basis (FOC who hates the sun) but you never know lol.

Do any of our USA based Blues have a good link for booking trains and also one for sourcing hotels, similar to our booking.com?
I use Booking.com over here too. Trivago is another good one. Also Priceline.com.
As for trains, it's pretty much Amtrak:
https://www.amtrak.com/home.html For intercity, it's pretty much the only choice here. You can get some bargains though if you book early enough.

Thanks for that, really helpful.

Prices of flights to Philly that week look scandalous
Newark is cheaper and only an hour on the direct Amtrak train into

Based in Atlanta, here's my plan :

19 June : Miami v Porto Atlanta
22 June : City v Al Ain Atlanta
26 June : Juventus v City Orlando
28 June : Bayern? v 2D Charlotte
29 June : Athletico/PSG? v 2A Atlanta

Finish 1st in group
30 June : City v 2H Orlando
1 July : Real Madrid? v Juventus? Miami
4 July : W53 v City Orlando
5 July : W51 v W52 Atlanta
8 July : City v W58 NJ/NY

Finish 2nd in group
30 June : Juventus? v 2H Orlando
1 July : Real Madrid? v City Miami
5 July : City v W56 NJ/NY
9 July : W59 v City NJ/NY

AND the final on the 13th :O

Planning on being with a few blues from UK, staying at ours and everything done as a road trip (no messing with flights), even the drive to NJ/NY (13 hours). Then we can quit/return if we get knocked out and will only book accommodation that can be cancelled.
Fucking hell end of June/beginning of July in Orlando!! Melt me now. Almost like Thailand in April totally roasting. Playing all these games after a long arduous season. Probably start the Prem on August 1st 2025!!

Ireland played Mexico there in 1994 WC at 1230pm.

It was 115 on the thermometer 46 c . I wonder who that advantaged?

Lived in Orlando for 12 years. Easy to cope with the heat; AC for indoors, lots of liquid (beer or girly cocktails) for outdoors :D, a cap to stop the nogging getting burnt and a rain mac for the EVERYDAY afternoon thunderstorms.

Understand for UK based Blues this is a nightmare. Commit to early group games or chance coming out later for 1/4's, semi & Final, IF WE MAKE IT !

If you're just looking for the best bang for buck, with 2-3 City games guaranteed, this is what I think.

Fly into Orlando 25th June
26 June : Juventus v City Orlando

Finish 1st in group
30 June : City v 2H Orlando
1 July : Real Madrid? v Juventus? Miami
4 July : W53 v City Orlando

Finish 2nd in group
30 June : Juventus? v 2H Orlando
1 July : Real Madrid? v City Miami
4 July : W53 v W54 Orlando

Fly home 6th July (5th is expensive).

Guaranteed 2 City games, possibly 3.
Fly in & out of Orlando with Virgin direct for 825 quid
EASY/Cheap to get from Orlando/Miami via train(https://www.gobrightline.com/) or bus(https://www.flixbus.com/)
Hotels around Orlando MUCH cheaper than PA/NJ/NY. Miami isn't cheap unless you want to stay in a place with easy drug & hooker supply ;)

AND, remember, wherever you are on the 4th July, it's a BIG celebration, fireworks EVERYWHERE !

Based in Atlanta and having lived in Orlando, happy to help any blues. Just PM me.

Are hotels likely to be mega expensive on 4th July?

There are some Orlando hotels (Hilton/Marriott) that are already charging $500 per night. But, there are so many 'OK' hotels in/around Orlando that average/normal prices of $100-$150 are still available. But I expect as game tickets are purchased and people to commit to going, these options will disappear and you'll be paying >$250 for what is effectively a Premier Inn. I ALWAYS book LOTS of rooms now, which are cancellable up until 2-5 days before the stay. Yes, these room are $10-$20 more than the 'pay now' options, but I have complete flexibility, at OK prices. Here's what it looks like at the moment for the night of the 4th. That $99 example in the bottom left is a Hampton Inn = Premier Inn standard.

Similar itinerary to what we're doing.

Return flights from Manchester to Orlando for £580 with bags and seat reservations, 21st June until 6th July. Hiring a car and driving up to Atlanta for the second group game the night after we arrive. Then back down to Florida. Undecided what to do if we get to the QF in New Jersey. May have to fly internally.

Anyone from 1894 going over with the banners? hope enough of our UK based fans make the journey to make a racket, I'd love to go but my limited means prevent me

Have you tried logging into your ticket account then going to Men tickets?

If you scroll down to the very bottom of the matches on display you will see WCC, there is a button that says buy and you then just go through the buying process as normal but obviously with no payment.
You should get a confirmation email.

Hope thats what you mean.
