If we lose this may aswell give up the league and focus on FA Cup.
 
It’s pretty simple for me. If the likes of Akanji,Kovacic,Foden replace Walker,Gundogan, Bernardo we’ll win
 
Right now I’ll take some pride in battle.
Hard work and focus, anything else is a bonus.
Hopefully having Kovacic back ‘might’ make us more defensively sound.
I’m dreading it already, fuck knows what I’ll be like on Sunday.

Just watched the rags and yes they were shit but they won. Looking at our recent games I wouldn't say we look any better than them, if anything they look more dangerous than us going forward.
 
United are ansolutely dire. But they have quick wingers and play on the break… which we are very susceptible to.

Last season's Foden was world class. This season's Foden is not better than Bernardo, even though the latter has played too many minutes and lost form. We need Foden in his best form, more than ever.

You can't compare Pilzen and Juventus. Compare the performances or both teams vs Forest. Day and night.

I'm not saying we are going to win or that it will be easy. But we scored 5 goals in the last 2 league games and looked better than United, both offensively and defensively.

I have the same old boring argument in my local with guys older than me.

They bang on about under Pearce, Alan Ball era and the likes.

Yes, I was also there.when we were shit. But back then we weren't one of the richest clubs in the world, with a manager that had world class players at his disposal and Midfielders collecting Balon 'dor honours.

We are so far removed from those days now.

Commenting on the here and now we are absolutely devoid of any idea on how to win a football match.

The manager keeps setting us up with the same formation and personnel that are letting him down week after week.

Yes he's limited with injuries but the team he puts out there should be doing a lot better.

We are wasteful up top, have no creativity in midfield and leak goals like a sieve.

This won't and can't be fixed in the January window.
IMO opinion we will struggle for top 4.
 
Back into the days of dreading these games unfortunately - it'll only be a season though!!
IF we can get minutes out of Kova and Phil I think we have enough to beat them lot. They're just not all that are they
