We had a passage of play where the defenders passed it around at the back for a few minutes only to have to pass it back to Ederson and for him to hoof it high wide and hansome.

Saying that he hasn't got anyone to hit with the long balls other than what looks like a bunch of defensive minded midfielders pretending to be wingers.
 
I do feel a bit for him, for once he wasn't rash and did well for the penalty incident only for Nunes to fuck it all up again, the less said about his penalty saving record the better, I also thought he should've done better for the second goal, could've gotten there first.
 
Ah and stop talking about penalties please.
Keepers are not responsible for saving pens, it only happens when takers are too stupid to kick it half-high into keepers' hands, or even miss.

Bruno F. is a brilliant taker. Eddie always moves too early but still that's not on him. Never.
 
there are those GK's that are called pen killers, because they often save some. what do they do differently than Ederson?
do they train differently in trainings specifically on pens?

I know its hard to save one but it does happen that the taker makes a bad choice, cannot send the keeper the other way, or not enough power on it, or not on target, or GK somehow able to reach it etc.
its like 85% xG a pen, long term 15% of pens taken are not scored simply.

its like you play roulette numbers from 0-36 and lets say numbers 31,32,33,34,35,36 are about 15% of the potential numbers. sometimes these numbers hit on any fucking roulette wheel.

Ederson at pens only putting on these few numbers and they never hit lol.
 
bit like that Feyenoord goal when he came out and jumped outside the box but not getting the ball or get a card at least but keep the lead.

here the red card wasnt and option due to inside the box, but he came out than backtracked which was the best thing for the attacker.

by the way this Amad guy cannot believe how lucky situations we got him in last 5 minutes twice in a row. give away the ball to him and then Nunes jumping in there for the pen, and then a long ball like that where defenders late and and GK not doing much.

Problem we are gone is that we will end fucking Ortega of by not picking him for a guy who be gone in summer you cannot make this shit up .
