It's why I never thought it likely he'd want to come to us without some assurance of how it would work when Rodri comes back. If he's had or has that conversation though and he's convinced there is opportunity to play together then I'm on board.This is why I don’t like it long term. To me that would be madness. Leave Rodri where he is. He scores those goals because from DM he can arrive at the perfect moments, and be on the edge of the box. If his starting position is higher we might actually find he has FEWER chances to score. Zubimendi seems great in the short term, but I want the club to remember that Rodri still exists and we need it to work when he’s back too.

I honestly think it's achievable. 120m for the pair :-)Zubimendi and Guimaraes would be an absolutely incredible window for us, and would give us huge boost for the rest of the season. Would be very difficult to pull it off though.
