The guy turned down Liverpool in the summer because he doesn't want to leave home, it would have been pretty weird if he then signed for us a few months later - especially as he'd have to compete with Rodri here eventually.

Clubs know we need players so this guy, having a release clause, was ideal.

I can't help but get the feeling the club will put feelers out in the press about this and that player to keep the fans onboard, but until this 115 case is over I can't see us signing anyone.
I think we will be victorious and all that but any player and his agent is going to have us over the barrel with demands, including doubts.
