I was being facetious. The ones doing well clearly won’t come back, the point was perhaps we’ve been overlooking the potential quality of some the players we’ve let go.
Not when we already had the quality in front of them. Besides that they really needed regular game time, something which they wouldn't have initially had goten at the time.
If it were up to you we’d sign no one as apparently no one wants to sign for us and every suggestion is too much of a risk.
Makes me wonder how we’ve ever signed anyone the way you go on.
I don't do panic signings. Plenty of them in January. If it was down to you it would be signings in every window. Regardless of overall quality.

That’s all I want at the moment, to see some kind of improvement from the shite that’s being served up, it’s not coming from pep or the players so if that’s through a couple of signings in January then so be it.
You go on like a couple of January incomings would doom the club into the championship.

I think you go and try for Mitoma from Brighton, he's 27 now, almost 28.. In his prime, good close and tight control. Mahrez type signing.

Yeah I was asking what you meant by you saying you ‘don’t do them’ because like the rest of us you have no involvement in any signings we make.
I suppose you won’t be content if we do bring a couple in and improve us.
If the quality isn't there then forget about it. The signings that would improve us are already at clubs challenging for trophies too. They aren't going to suddenly jump ship in the middle of the season. You need to be realistic
I’ve got a better idea let’s sign no one because ‘panic signings’ and write the whole season off with no champions league football to sign players in summer!

Ours currently is probably not even in the top 15 in the prem and that’s no exaggeration.
The biggest failure is that we lost so many good academy players, and they are thriving at other clubs when we could have direly needed them right now. Morgan Rodgers, Cole Palmer, Tosin, etc. Why are we buying players when our academy is available? This is the biggest mistake to me. There is no market right now and we have a huge hole in our squad that could have been solved with our academy.

Fairly simple, look at the pathway in the squad they had at the time, not now. Maybe 2, should have stayed from the list banded about.
