Palmer I would like to have kept. But it's hard to argue about his minutes when we are winning a treble.

The rest, clearly not good enough when they were here to get minutes in one of the best teams in the world. Doesnt mean they cant improve over time with regular minutes in a teams much worse than ours with little or no expectations of winning trophies.
Well that's exactly my point, I'm not saying the current kids are brilliant, I'm saying how do we know if they are any good when all they do is stay on the bench and get zero minutes ? considering we've produced some top talent lately it's worth giving them a shot, if they can just run that's already an improvement from what we're seeing.

People slagging Palmer for not wanting to stay, he has shown the younger players that there is another way rather than staying to either not get played or 1 min at the end of a match

Some of the younger lads must think they are wasting their time as he will just keep picking walker, Bernardo and gundo regardless how shit they are

Pep already knows how good they are, he see them in training every day. If O'Reilly looks half as good in training as a senior player, why on earth would Pep play him over said senior player just because he could possibly develop into a decent PL player in 3 years? No manager with any ambition to win would do that.

Not doing himself any favour's rushing stones back only to get injured again, and it was obvious we needed a sub right before their second, which was the same against juventus IIRC. And bernardo offered nothing all game and yet did another 90 mins?

That said. Back the boss. Support the team. Confidence is at an all time low throughout the squad and management it seems, and they need and deserve our support, but if Pep carries on making the same mistakes over and over then you wonder when we'll get out of this
Well they could at least put some fucking effort to cheer us up a bit.

Plays an obviously injured Stones instead of a fit Simpson, Stones proceeds to aggravate his injury, Pep comes out and says " I want my players back", he's just trolling at this point.
Should tell you all you need to know about Simpsons current ability.

Oh please, just like he didn't see anything in Palmer, Lavia, and Rogers who destroyed us today, he has no problems giving Lewis constant minutes despite him not showing anything special, it's what they show on the pitch that matters, and if they don't get any minutes they can't show shit.
