The problem is not Pep.. It's been a perfect storm.

The biggest problem is our players are fragile like glass and sucks the other PL players don't treat em that way..

Seriously.. I believe in Pep but without at least 2 midfielders (one DM, one playmaker), 2 CB's, a RB and a backup striker.. I don't see how we make top 4.

Going forward small squad is definitely not the way.

Oh please, just like he didn't see anything in Palmer, Lavia, and Rogers who destroyed us today, he has no problems giving Lewis constant minutes despite him not showing anything special, it's what they show on the pitch that matters, and if they don't get any minutes they can't show shit.
Lewis is currently our best youngster, which is why he is getting minutes. Should tell you all you need to know about the ability of the others, when you even question why the best youngster get minutes despite not showing anything special.

So far, the only youngster we have let go that we really miss is Palmer. The rest, you just want here because they have played in our youth team.

Would happily replace Gündo and Grealish with Lavia and Rogers.

I'm not, I know he's better than this, that's why I'm baffled by some of his decisions, he used to be the most ruthless manager around, he dropped Aguero when he was the best striker in the world, now he can't drop obviously finished players because they brought us success, that's not the Pep I know.

Pep has a history of eccentric decisions in some pretty big cup games that have not always come off.. This time it's over a number of league games which is a new experience for us

IMHO Palmer will never work out in a Pep system.. he gets exposed with top defenders.. which is likely what happened in practice against Ake, Stones and the rest.

But Morgan Rogers.. holy fuck.. he looks to be a Pep player and it's even more evident when we don't have a midfield.

Too bad Villa will not let him go easily.

And which players that are considerably better are fit and available?
How the fuck would we know since he never gives the academy lads any minutes to begin with ? also he could've tried Nunes in midfield, he could've played Savinho on the right and put Silva in the middle, but no he just keeps playing Gundogan.

Pep is the one playing them instead of the academy lads, that's what I'm complaining about, you can't play injured players and then complain when they get injured again.
Whenever the kids play together they are useless and of no help. Pep has been saying for nine years he will not throw the kids into a bad moment . You are clutching at straws and usingit to batter pep with and not just today , i think you are enjoying yourself

Nunes us injured

Yeah today, sure. Would you give up the trophies they have won here too just so we could have played Rogers and Lavia in their place instead and having them in the squad today?

Looking beyond the pitch, whenever long, consecutive awful results occur, it’s evident in the top players' strange performances, suggesting something’s gone wrong behind the scenes, whether it’s the manager being sacked (not), the owner changing (not), or relegation looming (?). If it’s the latter, I’ll salute Pep for sticking with us for another 2 years, no matter where we end up, and lay the blame on those players who are still getting fully paid while delivering half-ass performances!

We don't know that since the other youngsters don't get any minutes at all, I mention the others because they are a clear example of talented players who didn't get chances here but showed it when they left, that proves that Pep doesn't always get it right when it comes to talent, he can make mistakes and allow talented players to leave because he didn't give them chances, the problem is they are getting more frequent.

So you have no idea how good or bad the academy players are but still assume you know better than someone who see them every day. What if they are twice as bad as our senior players? Should Pep play them just so you can see them?
