Atmosphere 2024/25

The away end is sold out. They are the only blocks sold out. Seats remain on sale in every block in the home ends. All hospitality is available.

I can’t make the Everton match. I can’t leave my Sister on her own over Christamas. I’ve transferred my ticket for less than face value to friend.

Decent atmosphere today, all things considered. Villa fans not that great but usual caveats around 12.30 kick-offs - where the away fans have been on the lash and the home fans haven’t - apply.

Looking forward to Leicester a week tomorrow. Always a good atmosphere at that one
You were on the box Aimon around 82mins. I think you were taking a breath between songs mate.

I’m looking forward to the Everton game, and because of the time of year, praying for a repeat of the atmosphere against Stoke in 98. A game that started our comeback that ended up in promotion.

0-1 down at halftime and the atmosphere we, the fans, created stirred the team to a victory. It felt like a huge win at the time and proved to be. Amazing what we can achieve when we get behind our team.

We need to support our boys on Thursday.

Boxing Day 12.30 ko, this will be a very interesting atmosphere. Possibly the worst of the season?
Everton fans get a good reputation but they are usually always silent at our place as well Boxing Day early kick off can’t see them being up for it either

So, my mate, the Wythenshawe ONE as we now call him, has today been acquitted and charges dropped by GMP. After waiting for 4 days for City to send the CCTV, the video clearly shows it as mistaken identity, the guy behind the Wythenshawe ONE, was the culprit.

So, the stewards pointed out the wrong supporter, in the wrong seat, on the wrong row. Now, after being arrested, frogmarched out of the ground in cuffs, only seeing half the game (lucky bastard), spending the night in Newton Heath nick, an immediate 3 year ban notice issued by GMP to City who subsequently suspended his SC and cancelled his ticket for Villa.

He is rightly pissed off and doesn't want to let this go. Some faceless steward has fucked up, a CCTV operator has fucked up. Someone has to be held accountable for the shitshow he endured. The presumption of guilt is astounding. You're banned, no questions. No process, just an email telling a 15 year SC holder he's not welcome. With the stark message from the Club stating if the Police ban is longer than a season, you're SC is rescinded and gone forever.

Simple question:

Does anyone on here know the protocol for taking this further?

Ta.

Dodge.

PM sent.

Maybe someone else can clarify but he should get in touch with the club I think.

A letter or e-mail along the lines of “Now that all charges have been dropped by GMP who accept that it was a case of mistaken identity - you can clarify this with them - I look forward to my ban being rescinded with immediate effect and my season ticket being re-activated in time for the game against Everton on Boxing Day.”

Keep it nice and cordial at first and if no joy then he should tell them he’ll be taking legal action.
Try citizens advice. It’s free and will point you in the right direction.

I hope he gets sorted mate, the club shouldn’t be treating their own fans like that. As someone else said above, I reckon Liverpool would treat their own supporters better.
Yes they'd move them to better seats.
(The 2 idiots that were abusing Peps staff)

Tell you what. There are some absolute bell ends in our support.

Yesterday, there was a guy who spent the entire match moaning about every single action. Every pass was shit, every player is a **** and everybody needs to fuck off.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it was exhausting to listen to. Zero respect for Pep or the players and no intention of actually supporting the team. Why bother? I'm not a happy clapper and we all get frustrated... But we don't need people like that at our matches.

Felt sorry for the people with young kids listening to his bile.

The beauty of all seater stadiums. In the good old days you could just walk away.

There’s a bore who sits behind me in 315 and he’s just the same. Moans about absolutely everything, even when we were winning all the time!

Or the best. Why would it be the worst? It will be much better than if we were top of the league where most would just be sat back in their seats waiting and watching in silence until we scored, now we need to get behind the team.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but also entitled to receive a headbutt for those opinions n’all. I hate those sort of fans who just have nowt positive to contribute.

It will be no different to any other game, good for maybe the first 10-15 mins and if we score in that time even better. If we don't it will resort back to shit. One of the reasons I barely go anymore, the whole matchday experience is pants and too expensive
