Not play behind Rodri, replace the old Gundo who used to fill in admirably when Rodri was out and also play in a box to box role as an 8 in the same team with Rodri. I'll name you a dozen guys who could have filled that role...What are we doing here?
Not really bothered about your dozen. Maybe we’ll find somebody in January maybe we won’t.

Worrying that we just keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. If we were changing personnel it might help but we can’t we simply don’t have enough quality in the squad. Why he doesn’t give Wright Oreilly or McAtee at least a chance is baffling.

Interesting. I made a general statement. If you support Pep above the club then that's on you. If you don't why get so bothered? I assume you might not know who the great Joe DiMaggio was.
I'll keep it simple. One never knows who is watching you perform for the first time. Pointing to one's resume is never an excuse for performing so terribly.
You said you could give a fuck. Apparently you're not the only one.
How about Pep and these players hold their collective hands up and admit they've been terrible? Let everyone else point to their glories.
This has become a joke...
Joke post ,true.

He's not having a good year, too emotionally attached to certain players at the end of their careers and not seeing straight. He's had 6 good years out of the previous seven so I guess he's earned this, though the scale of disaster is getting too ludicrous.

You're only on this forum because we signed Jeremy Doku.

Not sure you're best placed to decide what this club needs.
That has zero relevance. You should address the argument, not the person.

Pep is too stubborn in his ways and these players seems pretty frustrated with what they are instructed to do on the pitch. The team atmosphere is clearly bad. The tactics are not working. The team is barely creating chances, and the pressing game is bad. And accountability should play a role. Winning titles doesn't excuse having a team this expensive and performing this badly for so long. With great power come great responsibilities.

As someone said, there are two options, either overhaul the squad with 6-7 new players, or hire a coach that would work better with the current group. The latter is much less expensive and buys you time to implement a new vision.

he changed his tune a bit. from "want my players back" to "we do need January signings". but then he will have a bigger squad which he doesnt like. :)

I wonder what is the mood these days between Pep and the medical team-physios.

Proving so far that he really can't do it on a wet Wednesday in Stoke...

The players are not playing as a team. Lack of a leader, cohesion, and probably a bit hacked off with Pep style of play.

I don't back against us as a rule but I would have won a mint if I went with my picks in the past 13 games.

We have been so under the odds its absurd.

For some reason I thought we would not lose to Forrest don't ask me why but I have picked us to lose every game since we lost Spurs in the CC and unfortunately City are not giving me any reason to change my mind.

A draw is the best we can expect against Leicester IMO.
We are on the same page unfortunately.

his worst ever domestic league finish was 3rd wasnt it? with us in his debut season. and on quite a large sample of about 15/16 top flight seasons.

he never not qualified for CL. (or for KO stages of CL)

while for City as a club we had many worse seasons of course for Pep alone this is looking to be the absolute worst if we fuck of vs PSG and Brugge and/or we finish outside top4 in PL.

All those are very likely to occur , there is no silver lining this season we have nothing in the locker to alter the slide , its going to be worse than Chelsea under the Special One.

I agree mate . We are not getting top 4 and if next 4 games don’t go to plan then we are fighting for our premier league future .

You didn't make an argument. You just said something with a bit of conviction.

And I'm sorry if it offends you but I will address the person when their relationship with my club is almost entirely superficial.

You aren't a part of this culture and should probably keep that in mind before you suggest how it should be reshaped.

I said before yesterday's game that we'd probably get 7 points from the games you mention, not unreasonable as all 4 are below us. But I think I might have to revise.
Saw West Ham yesterday and while they're not great they are capable of getting a point. The two away games against Leicester and Brentford could be trickier.

Lose two of these and I think Pep needs to question himself.

At this point it's become clear they will be selling McAtee in January so they won't risk him getting injured. Not what I was hoping for. Just what I believe...
