Leicester City (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Great win without any doubt. We need ir this so badly. The recruitment team should provide the necessary support in the winter transfer window.

Not vintage City but effective when we needed to be. Some of our recent problems were still evident but who cares with the win. Really need to build on this now over the next week's at least. Morale booster.

Not quite sure why some folk on here are getting upset with what some mooners say on the match thread. When Gvardiol heads the ball to Steptoe in the first half do you expect no one to ask wtf he was doing? Or when players duck out of challenges the same? Maybe stay away from the match thread if your sensitivities may be compromised.
Or perhaps get behind the team for the 90 minutes? Radical, I know.

I know we all get frustrated but some of the posts in the match threads lately have been fucking outrageous
Maybe bud, though for me, I tend to judge the matchday thread and all non-matchday threads differently.

There are comments which outside of that thread I’d think were beyond the pale that during the heat of the moment during a match when stress levels etc are naturally higher would bother me less. A bit like some of the stuff you hear in the stand at the game.

For that reason I find it hard to get too worked up about what’s said during those threads. I’m sure I’ve been guilty of going OTT during the match from time to time too.

It is what it is.

Mcatee might not be the best midfielder out there but he has legs and can run which is plus arm and you could tell today .

Needed that big time, bring on jan hopefully get 1 or 2 additions in,get bobb dias stones ect back ,and go for champions leauge, wudnt be suprised if we did it,hopefully get zubamendi in an weve cracked it

The win will help the confidence the confidence will help performance and hopefully things will get back to normal quickly. Foden didn't look right from the start love the commitment of Lewis 110% every game but he's not the answer as an inverted full back. Nice cameo by mcatee kept it simple but again don't think he's the solution long term.

No, it is them who should stay away from the club altogether

Of course comment on mistakes, but comment in a way that they have totally forgotten about what these players have done for the club prior to this blip. M

Some of the comments were beyond ridiculous and some further than that should openly be outed and those posters asked if they are actually Blues.

Why does that matter in the matchday thread? None of the players are trawling through Bluemoon while playing, so what does it matter? When it's abusive then fair enough but the idea that everyone should just post the equivalent of 'Come on City' is bizarre.

Yeah let’s have a blue on blue witch hunt. That makes sense.

3000 persons of the match today for me. I might be a bit OTT but when are fans r on it we have the best in the country. From min 1 it was non stop. City should be doing everything they can to make sure we have similar make up of fans for all aways. Compare to the Liverpool game when we were mute. It was superb today. Oh and were you listening Michael Owen you poisonous runt!

Exactly.

McAtee and O'Reilly wouldn't normally be near our main starting 11, But what they could both offer you at this current time is energy and legs to get around the football pitch.

It's clear as day we've lads that's completely dead on their feet and teams are out working us, That could change somewhat by giving these lads game time.
