Jack Grealish | Set to join Everton on season-long loan

Plenty others who should be moved on to get support in other areas of the pitch like fullbacks and actual goal scoring wingers. Grealish could do wonders in the midfield with Rodri and whoever we get to rotate with/supplement him.

The interest will amount to "we'll take him on loan with you covering all his wages if you want rid" they'll be no genuine interest in actually buying him just clubs looking to position themselves at the front of the queue for any freebies.

Perfect player to use in a cash plus swap deal
For us perhaps. For the other side it's the worst kind of player. A big name who has dropped off, no guarantee you'll get them back to a desired level, on huge wages that they won't be able to get close to matching and we'll be able to suggest his value is greater than reality because of the fee we paid.

Regardless of who the player is and how much a club may be interested, you stay away from those kind of players in any potential direct trade. you sell your in demand asset for maximum possible value first and then you look at haggling from a much stronger basis for the player that club potentially want to get rid of and price them down.

Surprisingly less starts in the PL as an attacking mid for Villa than I thought looking at his numbers. (18)

Not arsed if he goes, clearly replaceable. Doubt its this window though, they'll make an effort in summer

Jack Gaughan.....

Could be something in it. Probably just be a loan tho.

Wouldn't give Spurs fuck all. Hopefully we can do something involving a player swap with Newcastle.

Good lord, loaning him out would be terrible (doubt either would want to pay his full wages while on loan). Other than either cash from Spurs or a swap with Newcastle, I can't see this happening in Jan - unless we are getting a few players in

Probably nonsense, hardly worth a separate thread.Cant see us letting anyone leave before the summer.

The one game we played Jack in midfield was against Forest. Yes they had chances, but we had much more, and it was easily our best performance in this dreadful run. The next game he is dropped, then as a 5 minute cameo role the game after that. I am convinced if we play Jack in midfield for a few games we would be better. Much better than having Gundo, Kev or Bernardo in midfield. Those 3 have been great servants but are struggling to cope with the pace of the opposition.

Can’t see us selling him in January unless it’s part of another deal.

Maybe Porro at Spurs or Gordon at Newcastle would be the sort of deals where it could happen.

Would like to see him get a proper run of games in the middle, but if it hasn’t happened in the three years and a bit years he’s been here, then it’s probably not going to happen in the next six months unfortunately.
