All the new George Bests

We’ve got another one.

“Football to him is art” written about Zirkzee. A man who’s only talent is looking like the pathologist off of The Wire.

Of course it was written after he made a good pass and scored 2 tap ins (3 in twenty games!).

They don’t half have smoke blown up their arses

The journo is a Juve loving, city hating lady. I'm surprised Natalie Pike hasn't smacked her when they've been on fighting talk as she always gets in a cheats joke. Which is ironic considering what her team were found guilty of.

My favourite is Januzaj. This article remains unparalleled

“The kid has a Pythagorean awareness of angles and dimension and a left foot that blends art with precision. With each game he plays, Januzaj lightens by increments Moyes' load by removing the urgency to resolve the Rooney conflict in a way that might be detrimental to United.”

Truly magnificent.

Mainoo as the new Seedorf has potential though.
Fucking hell!

That is truly vomit-inducing. What a pathetically sycophantic piece of shit.

The closest they have got to Best isn't on the field but off it with Giggs and Greenwood :)

I am having a discussion with a united supporting colleague about united overhyping their youngsters
I am having trouble remembering all the new george bests they have had over the last 10 - 15 years

I have already got

jizjaz
rashford
jessie lingard
chris eagles
Danny welbeck
Macheda
ravell morrison
Cleverley
pogba
McNair
Tooanzebe (? spelling)
Greenwood
Elanga
Hannibal
We've had nearly as many 'next hitlers' - people love hyperbole.

You can probably add fatty luke Shaw to that list.....commonly known as Gorge best due to constant over eating ...

Hilarious. Like a parody account with Alan Partridge as a football journalist.

From the new Ronaldinho, and football being an art to him, to getting booed off by your own fans after 30 mins.

Life comes at you fast

Was going to mention Jesse Lingard but then I realised he's relatively quite young and still got bags of potential , so a bit early to write him off completely... maybe by 2034 we might look back and say he was the new George Best after all ..then again perhaps not.

You play for united and you are an instant star in the making.

As much as I have moaned about them over the years and the media coverage and favouritism they get, as much as I hate that Mainoo is picked for England because he plays for utd, or that players like Rico Lewis, Brathwaite, etc dont get any coverage in comparison, I have come to realise its crippling them.

Without a (very) good manager to know the wheat from the chaff they are going to continue doing whatever the media says, buying whatever their fanbase demand (Sanchez, maguire, Pogba, so many), keeping the chaff (Rashford, Shaw, Maguire, so many more) It pleases their fanbase and the media, which pleases the shareholders and owners.

I think their days of spending big on players is history. The new 'Bests' will have to come from within - just like always!!!

The biggest nightmare could be this weekend; they must be shitting themselves about the Anfield trip. What a start to the New Year that could be for them ..... and all of us!
