Don’t believe the media bullshit. The online abuse is from rival fans. Kyle has been fantastic for City but has just reached a point in his career with his age. He has shown guts to make the decision for himself. City fans will always respect what he did for us and wish him well. Some City fans will be proud of their contribution I guess.
Light years ahead of any other right back in my life time. Zabba was great, a proper defender. It was no coincidence we completely evolved as a club when getting Walker in. Widely regarded as the best right back in the prem era, which easily makes him ours. He goes with my blessing and thanks, yes off the field he isn't a role model and I certainly never wanted him near the captaincy but he has been a great servant. Not for me. Sorry mate.
I think so.That's how I read it. Gentlemen's agreement so he can sign for anyone he wants without any fees getting in the way.
He asked to leave to get a bumper contract in Saudi or Bayern, but we gave him a 3 year bumper one because Pep was worried at the possibility of loosing three mainstays from the squad at the sometime He didn't do us any favors it was a major mistake by the club as his decline was evident throughout the previous season Averaging 2 goals conceded with him playing compared to 0.6 withoutAnd lets be clear here, he recognised what was going on with him and asked to leave last summer. He stayed here because Pep asked him to when he could have walked. He did us a favour, not the other way around.
Depends if that's what he's asked for.I know he's not played great but terminating him seems a bit harsh?
Age has caught up with him. It was clear towards the end of last season. Made a tit out of himself in the derby, now he wants to flounce off and blame it on everyone else.So he leaves the Premier League due to racism and goes to…. Serie A?
Another blatantly ludicrous article.

If he was 4 years younger, he would be deaf to any criticisms coming his way.
How do you know how he feels? There are no problems with Pep and Walker.
Walker asked to leave because HE feels that he hasn't been up to par this season and if he stays, he'll do more harm than good to both City and himself. Recognising that you've lost your legs and are causing harm to the team is EXACTLY why he was made captain by the people who actually know him personally rather than watch him on the telly and have no idea what type of person that he is.
He’s doing us the biggest favour in not doing a Danny Mills and taking his salary for the next 18 months.Exactly this , he's supposed to be our leader but is nowhere to be seen post match when we lose and is now jumping ship as times have got a little tough, fucking coward.
Agreed. He can have 4 wives there.think Saudi the best place for him rather than Europe.
He’s not dead is he!i've been quite critical of him over the last couple of seasons as he has been a major cause of our issues but I have to say he was previously a major part of our success too, up there with the best.
Like a few on here I didn't think it was the best signing back in 2017 but his performance level far exceeded what I was expecting, seeing that burst of speed to get us out of trouble, the way he handled some of the best wingers in football with apparent ease.
I think his performances recently actually look worse as he was on such a high level and any drop off is more obvious, the loss of a couple of yards of pace means he cannot play his natural game.
a bit of a shame if it ends like this, deserves to go out with a good send off for what he has done for us.
I've not been that bothered with the off field stuff, yes he seems to cause most of the trouble himself but it can't have been easy to focus with all that shit happening in the background, hopefully he can get things sorted, think Saudi the best place for him rather than Europe.
