I actually quite like him and along with Phil Trow, is one of the few I can tolerate on Radio Manchester. Most of them can't enunciate their words correctly. I'm from Salford myself originally, and Sweeney on Piccadilly at lunch time early 80s was go to listening. He is a Rag though but actually OK.He was on Cheesys game vlog, proud Salfordian and all that
Never be fair when dealing with those rag cunts. Always treat them with the distain they richly deserve. To be fair Arsenal stopped any more fans from buying tickets due to standing issues
The Emptyrates Stadium.Maybe he should have commented on all the empty seats in the rags' section at the match. After all, so many rags only live round the corner.

There's a few on here that'd do that for free.More like a nose job
City legend passes away - Small story.I genuinely believe the BBC are cunts towards us on purpose. It can't be anything other than a high-level management decision the way we are treated by them.
By 2 o clock today skysports main story was klopp being interviewedCity legend passes away - Small story.
Rags receptionist - Gets full coverage right down to the funeral being reported live.
100% agree with you about Mike Sweeney.I actually quite like him and along with Phil Trow, is one of the few I can tolerate on Radio Manchester. Most of them can't enunciate their words correctly. That was funny. Probably some spotty intern or work experience.I quite like it as I’d be exactly the same towards the rags, if I worked on there.

Definitely a bias, comparable sized clubs to us, say an Everton, Villa or Leeds legend passing would get the publicity and respect they deserveAbsolutely pathetic coverage of Tony Book’s passing away today. Completely obvious and just wrong.
I can't remember them reporting the staff member passing away though? Perhaps wait for Skips funeral before trying to compare them (although why people do this anyway I have no idea). That was funny. Probably some spotty intern or work experience.
I'd be sorely tempted myself, but there has to be an element of professionalism from our national broadcaster when it comes to being balanced and honest. To put a club tea lady above a cup winning club captain, former manager and club legend is simply pathetic.
