PSG Away

I would guess "digital" tickets are just print at home ones. If that's the case the ticket is a pdf and names can just be edited easily
Careful. Was the same for Juventus, however when the person checking your name scanned the ticket and your name popped up on their screen.

If it's the same here, then changing the pdf won't work

Four of us travelling but I'm the only one with a ticket in my own name.

The others would never have sourced tickets if this criteria had been announced from the start.
However the original criteria seemed more relaxed like Bratislava and Lisbon

Whether it's the Paris Police or City Ticket Office incompetence this would probably be the straw that broke the camel's back for me

For Juve it was made clear by the club and Alex on here that it would be like that. Nothing such has been suggested for this trip

Any way of finding this info out for sure from Alex or fan support or is it a case of wait for the tickets to be sent and see if the names are on them?

I am hoping that they are still mobile.

Because by the time I would receive a paper ticket brought off a Blue Mooner on here, I will more than likely have already started my journey to Paris!!!

So trying to mess about with PDF that maybe locked or security coded on a mobile phone, before trying to find somewhere in Paris to print it off, maybe tricky.

On an 8am train to London from Somerset, on Saturday, heading for the Eurostar terminal, making a long break/trip of it.

Hopefully, it will all work itself out in the end???

Which end who knows???

Away End???
OR
The Home End??? :0)

Just tried to ring City about this and they are bloody unavailable all day on a training day... I might be wrong, but the Juventus page said you would be denied entry if ticket didn't match ID name. Doesn't say that on this one, it just says ID check? Anybody know a Newcastle fan who went last season to ask :D? I'll try ring the club first thing tomorrow and let you know what they say. So many fans were turned away at Juventus and the away end was dead, be a shame if same happens here for such an important game.

It is notable that for the Juventus game they made it clear and reminded us at every possible opportunity.

For this they've told us last minute once arrangements have been made, and even then it's only those that read the small print who'll notice. There will be plenty who rock up to the ground with absolutely no idea about ID checks

The stewards will be getting paid minimum wage to stand there cold and scan tickets, Are they really going to be that bothered in all fairness unless they really are trying to crack down on it

Good question haha, obviously everyone thought that about Juve as well but the stewards were having none of it.

I think (hope) we're worrying about nothing

I reckon the fan advice that's appeared in the last day or two is a cut and paste job from previous matches and the ID check bit should have been removed

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the tickets turn up in the next day or two and names are nowhere to be seen

if these are digital tickets (which they must be as people are travelling this weekend) will you be able to transfer them to your “friends “
