I was there, my 39th birthday, horrendous day despite beating Stoke 5-2, we were stitched up by Huddersfield and Bradford getting twatted at home to our relegation rivals Port Vale and Portsmouth. A lad I knew at the time was at the Bradford game, he told me the players didn't give a toss and the two sets of supporters were all sing "City's going down".

Do you remember when our game on a Sunday v West Ham was called off due to mega winds? It really would have been impossible to get the game on and there was also a health and safety issue for the fans. Poor Marvin argued the game would be on, he got some right pelters in that thread.

He's a good lad though Marvin, very bright, think he was doing a degree in some kind of science subject, he obviously passed.

It is my eldest lads birthday 3rd May.
I was in the Stoke end and got a whack just as Goater scored the first.
A few of us turfed out by the stewards, so spent the rest of the game getting pissed on the hill outside before the war afterwards

The Britania Stadium was relatively new, there was plenty of rubble around the ground that was used as "weapons" it got a bit tasty didn't it?

Yes indeed. Perhaps Pep has given up on that and is now settling to try and win games 5-4 :-)

I never thought Txiki had it in him to get this deal done before Friday. Struck 3 deals within the first 16 days of the window is magical! This is turning into a proper Txiki farewell transfer window!
