So we are going to have the below fighting for 4 positions on a pitch, what happened to small squads? Someone if not 2 must be going, way too many there and all deserve first team football.

Wrong on 2 fronts.

Its already been said that we dont want to have very small squads anymore as we are fighting in too many comps.

Echeverri isnt really an option considered right now until we see him in the summer in which we also might lose kdb, and we attack in a 325, so there are 5 spots.

Fair enough, lets say 5 then and KDB leaves that still is going to leave 4 pretty pissed off players who could easily play first team football elsewhere for example Alverez who had enough and went to Madrid

I think some on here should think back to 3 May 1998, then they would have something to moan about. It is great that I read all of the inside information about the fact we only started looking for a midfielder on January 1, and the club should be ashamed of themselves.

Unlike the scum, we don't just pluck some known star that will never gel with the team, and look how they are fairing. The arse manage to buy good players every season, but they are still no closer to winning the title. I have read multiple comments about why didn't we get Rice, what about Sanchez, Fred, De Ligt and rat face were wanted by posters on here, there are a multitude of players gone to those two clubs that many on here lusted over, but I would rather be in our position.

Our club identifies not only quality players, but people who are humble and will totally gel with the squad, which is why they take so long to identify them, and I bet there have been loads that we have passed on. Yes we have had a few like Phillips that fitted in to that role, but he just was not good enough to deliver what Pep expected. Jeez we haven't had many failures under Pep have we.

We have won everything over the past few years, and I will give my club of 54 years a bit of slack, it is know wonder that they have hit the wall after so much success. I am sure that they have people in the pipeline, and are smart enough to keep it under wraps, jeez how many times have we seen the rags gazump us in the past by paying over the odds.

I trust the directors and Pep to identify the right players, jeez he is the best coach in the World. I will accept one bad season, because unlike the rags, it will not be followed by another twelve. I remember clearly 3 May 1998, it was my lowest point as a supporter, I will not take for granted our success, I will not criticize the people who run our club, and I wholeheartedly trust them to deliver.
Missed this yesterday.. what a post !

this guy has something we don’t have in a central position which is a standing start, and get past one two or three players. Not felt this excited watching YouTube videos since Nery Castillo.
Haha I remember him being introduced, the announcer played a bizarre Mexican song and nobody seemed to know who he was..
