The way I am reading this is that the EPL is as good as finished and is to be set back to just another euro league along with all the rest. It will be replaced with a World Club league and membership to it will be in the early stages by invite only. If a club just wants to leave it then it will be and will just be replaced with another invited club. No promotions and no relegations. A closed league something like the American sports model. Seems to work well enough for them.

Americans wanted to make Premier league a closed league, and they failed if it was not City and some others they would succeded in that.

And now don't talk like it's beacuse of Manchester City that could happed.
