PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

We can talk about soft signals until we are blue in the face, but one thing you have to admire about Haaland is his commitment to himself and his own talent.

He has been man-handled with the approval of PGMOL and the PL since the end of his first season in an attempt to stop him. You can see the effect in his goal scoring statistics in his three seasons here. It must be incredibly frustrating for him.

Yet he has just told the whole world that he believes in himself to find the solution and will not give up, pretty much for his whole career. His first win is getting the PL to use him as a PR tool, as above. Good on him. I hope he continues to do well. For City, obviously, but also for him as a person.

If a relegation caused by a club breaking the rules leads to financial losses for a player, it provides grounds for the player to seek contract termination through FIFA. Therefore, if you refuse to let players leave, there is a significant risk you will lose them for free. That's a can of worms no club wants to open.
We won't get fooled again ;)

I've said it before and I'll say it again

I have no clue how this will pan out, but we can all agree that had the hearing gone poorly for City, we'd have been reading about it in numerous outlets

The silence is promising
If we are found guilty after the Haaland contract, transfers, stadium upgrades then we are run by raving mad lunatics.

I'm pretty sure we are not.

“Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham said he planned to set up a new body to help drive forward the project before the stadium decision is made.
A Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC) is a statutory body that has powers including compulsory purchase.”

Long as they pay for it themselves.
As if.
You know our Scouse money grabbing **** of a mayor will be getting a cut.
Cut for the ****.
Well, it just mirrors the huge effort Burnham has put in helping City re North Stand development.

Interesting conclusion mate. Does anyone else feel the same?
Even more telling was the PL decision not to punish any club in the latest PSR checks.

I would predict once we are cleared on 115 that all PSR/Financial checks will be scrapped in the PL completely.

350M stadium investment, 9.5 yr Haaland contract and going into the January market like a club possesed are signs that the monkey on our shoulder is long gone.

We have has an incredible ride since the Sheik took over in 2008 and I get the feeling we have seen nothing yet.

Phase 2 of project incoming ;)
