Disagree, he has a place in our squad and a very valuable one. The issue is expecting him to play every 3 days and esp against a top team like PSG that have not only quality in the middle but also youth and energy. We might have got away with it with Rodri and someone else with legs beside him but he was set up to fail last night. We had little alternative though. We should be using him a little like Madrid use Modric last year, either comes on towards end of games when players are tired or he plays when fresh and hes surrounded by legs who can press and run.
I don’t think he’ll want to stay around to not play, and not play the big games.

He was great against Brentford and Ipswich, they all played badly last night.

Don’t know why Phil doesn’t take the corners. King Kev is best of the best at most things but has never been any bloody good at those set pieces.

out of possession completely finished. thats it. no way new contract can be given to him. maybe at New York City. it was a mistake with Walker as well and Gundo as well.

His body language was horrific. Constantly berating anyone and everyone.
Seems to have the body of a 50 year old and the attitude of a moody teenager. Real kevin and perry vibes sulking his way round the pitch moaning at everyone for some very minor mistakes, whilst doing very little (arguably nothing at all) himself

The amount of times he didn’t pass to Nunes who was through or open on the right side is hilarious considering his corners were fucking shit. Of course no one told him to stop taking them. It’s over. Some players have too much influence.

My favourite City player of all time but I'm worried about him falling into this habit of blaming other players for his own shortcomings. Nunes played a pass over the top to him in the first half that the De Bruyne of 2-3 years ago would have reached, and from there he would have taken it on and made a chance. Instead he got outpaced and PSG nicked the ball back. His response to this was to turn round to Nunes and shout at him for playing a poor pass when it was a perfectly decent ball through that he would have caught up to in the past.

Always a fiery character but one that is becoming increasingly frustrated with his own issues ie age and his dwindling physical attributes.

We witnessed how good KDB can still be against Ipswich but we also witnessed that against the top sides he is struggling and way past his best.

For me in the summer it's time to say thank you and goodbye and send him to NYCFC on semi retirement and the figurehead of that club and league.

He would rip that leagues records to shreds and lead NYCFC to the title.

It is worth to point out during Kev career he put quite a lot of long passes that were a bit out of reach without much consideration of his teammates pace. Nonetheless they burst a run. And they rarely turned back and embarrassed him. Say with Raz Jesus and so on.

If it was so far ahead of KDB he couldn't reach it then it wasn't a good pass.

Nunes isn't playing with 2015 KDB, he's playing with 2025 KDB and should measure his passes accordingly.
