Hope you’re right. Has that been stated ??No public purse money for a rags stadium

Official policy?
That is the way I read it also. From what I've read, the Government money/hand out isn't for the stadium, its for infrastructure and the surrounding area around the stadium.
The Government and United know there would be a massive outcry if the Government gave United tax payers money to build the new stadium.
It's like City asking the Government for money towards the Etihad Campus, the Collar site, and another Metrolink station.
Thanks, I’ll look. You can read it in today's Mail or Guardian. As you know, the papers never lie....
They have announced that they support the regeneration of the area. Not a chance any government funding will go anywhere near the stadium.I read something today which said the government has adopted the plan.
Will try and find a link.
I thought the same. Not sure if mentioned previously but would Infantino really show up to watch the biggest cheats in world football? I very much doubt it.
Add to this, the Haaland contract, Pep extending, the new signings.etc and I think it's becoming clear that we are going to be found innocent, or at least substantially so.
Are you including Khaldoon who he was sat next to yesterday, which was the inference of my post. You misspelt rapist, racist, cheating, stupid cunts
It’s a Stefan soft signal.I thought the same.
Sat next to khaldoon too.
It wouldn’t look good for Infantino or FIFA if we were to be found guilty of fraud.
Surely it’s a positive sign.
That’s not too bad then although we got no help for upgrading the infrastructure around our ground. From what I've read, the Government money/hand out isn't for the stadium, its for infrastructure and the surrounding area around the stadium.

U20 for Argentina 2 goals & an assist in a 60 minute display :-)What happened to Echeverri? Isn't he due with us this month?
The new stadium needs more room than they currently have unless they move out and play somewhere else for 2 or 3 years. The only way to build alongside is to grab some of the train goods container yard next door. That yard really needs moving completely because the freight trains have to run through Piccadilly and Victoria to reach it, which means there are fewer passenger trains because of it. If the whole yard can be moved, to I think it’s St Helens area the yard owners want, then the whole of GM gets more passenger trains because a large number of freight trains are removed from the lines. It really is quite sensible all round. All ready got two maybe 3 metro lines what do they want high speed 2 straight to the swamp so they can get back to London quicker
Unless they cover it up!From what I've read, the Government money/hand out isn't for the stadium, its for infrastructure and the surrounding area around the stadium.

Thought the “state” already bankrolls us by disguising owner funding? Is this allowed now or what? -:)From what I've read, the Government money/hand out isn't for the stadium, its for infrastructure and the surrounding area around the stadium.

You could argue it doesn’t look good for city to be associated with a corrupt organisation.I thought the same.

You sound like Ian Hislop with that statement :-)Unless they cover it up!
Nah a government would never do such a thing.
You could argue if you want but why put a damper on it.You could argue it doesn’t look good for city to be associated with a corrupt organisation.
What’s wrong with a next suit!!I've got footage of him dancing to Carlos Brown and the Bahia crew, complete with white trainers and a Next suit.
He came to tell txiki to stop fucking about and put the jumper onDoes khaldoon usually come to the UK when it's freezing cold and there are storms everywhere.
Unless he's here on business.....
I might be mistaken but I believe he's unavailable until Argentina's involvement in the U-20 South American Championship comes to an end or, should they progress, 16th February when the tournament concludes. What happened to Echeverri? Isn't he due with us this month?
