One of the main reasons he hasn't won more CL titles is because he frequently gets the starting lineup wrong, well he got it wrong again tonight even though we won, but better teams would have punished us as we've seen multiple times in the KO stages.

Made unnecessarily hard work of it with his starting line up. Very hard to work out why he changed the team so markedly given how we played on Saturday.
He looks fucked at the moment, ill in fact. He should take the week off before that Leyton Orient match and get a bit of sun on his back and have a proper rest somewhere hot. Could make all the difference to him for the rest of the season.

I never want to see that starting midfield ever again. It made no sense.
Bernardo had his best game of the season at the weekend…moves him to RW. He’s got no pace, no right foot, doesn’t create or score goals. Be better off with Ederson out there.
Foden has been scoring for fun in the middle…moves him to LW.
Does this to accommodate a geriatric Gundo, who has had 1 good game (against a shit Ipswich) all season.

When you consistently try to play through the middle of the pitch and lose the ball with an overs 30s team with 0 legs you deserve everything you are going to get. Changed it and we got the ball wide and deservedly won the game. I think we need some balls on the coaching staff to challenge his team selection and tactics, as the first half was bloody weird.

It was so fucking obvious though too. Wasn’t a hindsight thing at h/t i wasn’t overly worried because i knew he’d have to put Savinho on, shift Phil and we’d score 2 or 3.He will do it again tho !

Didn’t even need to play that system as it would have left plenty of space for their counters. Just leave Foden drifting in from the right where he can get his shots off and play Savinho.
