Do you know if Marmoush can play?

Haven't checked personally but many saying he can

We struggle against teams that play 6-3-1 or 6-4-0 and break at pace. Consequently we need a fully mobile midfield and defenders who can tackle.
I'm hoping Bayern or Real will play a more open game and give us chances to get behind them.
As for tonight; the first half was bloody awful in that we needed to win but didn't force a single save. Second half was considerably better but we still had a couple of dozy moments after equalising and going ahead.

A game of 2 halves.

That opening 45 was as bad as anything we have produced in a long time. Pep got it all wrong with the team selection and tactics.

So much better in the 2nd half. Certainly offensively. Still all over the show at the back.

Great win and we hopefully will be in a better state as a side come the playoffs.

not sure about that the first half was about control which we did until gundogan had rash shot hit defender and caught everyone in their half of the pitch

For those asking about Marmoush and other new players.

We can make 3 changes to the CL squad, so all 3 can be added.

They might not be if we buy more players. Then we have to pick the 3.

Bad news is if Ruben & Nathan are not fit we cannot go into the playoff relying on Akanji to be the fulcrum of our play. In the first half he had so much possession and slowed us down to a walk only to be picked off on the counter.

I don't know what's happened to his passing this year but he looks off it - maybe he needs a rest because to be fair to him he's played a lot when others have been unavailable.

Omar will be an important player for us because of his raw pace which we will need against the better sides left.

It wasn’t just the fact he picked Gundogan….other players (Foden and Silva) had to be moved from their best positions to accommodate.

Unfortunately he was brought back to play a support role but been forced to play most games from the start now. Sad to see a great player for us in past struggling but got to question why Pep didn't address a back up for Rodri earlier.
