Could possibly be that we work something out with a player joining them, either on loan or permanent. Either a CFG player, someone currently on loan somewhere else, or Echeverri maybe. No idea (just guessing obviously) but since they would have to give Barca 40% of any fee they might be open to creative solutions with getting a player in return instead of just cash.

Depends on the profile and the need. Does he have what we need? We had England's number first choice #6 and he was garbage etc etc.

Think of it like this. He’s a backup 6. When Rodri returns Nico is young and many would hope would continue to develop.

We will have a backup to Rodri, the option to rest Rodri in the future without it effecting the balance. And also have the ability to double pivot when Pep feels it’s right.

Your pace, energy and excitement signings will come from replacing the likes of Gundo and Kevin in the summer.
