He’s more Rodri then Gundo.
Very composed, good physically. Reads the game well. And is technically very good.

Got to have faith that Viana has seen plenty of this guy at first hand, so would surely only sanction the move if he’d given it a thumbs up.

Yes I’ve just seen he plays as a CM but can play DM and AM….three for the price of one?

Could possibly be that we work something out with a player joining them, either on loan or permanent. Either a CFG player, someone currently on loan somewhere else, or Echeverri maybe. No idea (just guessing obviously) but since they would have to give Barca 40% of any fee they might be open to creative solutions with getting a player in return instead of just cash.
I don’t think we would be deploying him as a AM anytime soon. I’m not so sure about that possibility.
Think Rodri. Or even Declan Rice.
I watched him in person when he was younger.

IF we can get this guy in, hopefully get Diaz fit, bed in Omar and the 2 new centre backs, Oscar Bobb coming back (albeit not played many games), Savinho looking like a proper prospect, this season could start to look good. Get Cambiasso in as a bonus, would be a tremendous window. Rodders back for the end of season maybe? Fuck all the negative bed wetters I say
Guess in summer. There will be plenty hopefully. But we know Pep loves control more than > athleticism shown with Sav being on the bench and him keeping that inverted FB tactics when it doesn’t work.

Well its a midfielder chaps - hopefully this goes through. Although would also like Cambiaso in before the window shuts so we can still make a season of it, as I really wouldn't want to rush Rodri back just to get bodies in.
If its Nico in, at the very least @Gaz (FMwkdsoul) & @Ajm1985 will be happy...fingers crossed.
