Lot's of talk of giving Amorim more time, letting him try out the system, and getting a free hit. Ok that's fine, and sensible and they can't keep firing managers. But also how much time?

Maybe it's just not their season and there's no god given right for them to be at the top. Newcastle, Chelsea and Villa will get better too. If they can just get used to the idea that they should have some direction and a coherent playing identity, maybe just do that and relax a bit and enjoy the rides or the games. It's this "we are Manchester United, we must be winning league titles" thing that is their curse. You see it now with Arsenal, every game is a must-win, look at how they're hyping the game against you this week---at the end of the day, as a fan, you need to allow yourself to just enjoy the sport.

The one advantage they have is a continued willingness to spend over the odds, but at some point they'll start loosing their allure.

They might very realistically simply become the new Spurs, or like how we were in the 90s between Dalglish and Klopp. However, we had less 'big' teams at the top, top four is tougher now for the teams not competing for the title. There's no guarantee they get top 4 every year let alone challenge for the title.

At some point they'll get resigned to a new normal they can relax in being a mid-table team.

Also they need to stop overhyping their kids. Macheda, JizzJazz, Maino, Garnacho, Diallo....not every kid that shows some promise is the next Lamine Yamal. It doesn't help the development of the kids in question either.

Never usually happy when oppo players get bad injuries, but I won’t be losing any sleep if Martinez is a bad one. It’ll avoid someone more innocent getting badly injured with his two footed jump challenges. Horrible player
That’s exactly what I thought, when I heard it

I said recently, that the midget deserves every bad injury that he suffers.

I'm quite upset about the Rashford transfer.
He's massively overrated so i was kinda hoping for his mediocrity to end up polluting the Arsenal bench.

Also, his stench of bang averageness leaving the swamp is a step in the right direction for the cretins in Salford.

Not good news at all.
Salford?

They now haven't scored a single goal against Palace in 4 consecutive league games, the first time that's happened against any club for them since 1983.
AMoron is carrying on ten Bob's good work of setting unwanted records.

Keep up the bad work, AMoron.

I don’t really pay much attention to media tittle tattle but when speculation about whether Pep would extend or not reached fever pitch this guy was one of the potential successors being mentioned.

Surely not. Was that just made up press nonsense or have we dodged a future bullet here.

A maximum of 31 points needed, until we can celebrate St Beneathus Day again.

Though with our superior goal difference, 30 will probably be enough.
