Gabriel is a horrible twat, it's very hard to like this arsenal even they new academy kid taking the piss out of Haaland when he scored. They is nothing to like about the club or players or fans !.
Arsenal seem to have the knack getting deflected goals and goals gifted to them against us.

Just when you think it cannot get worse....Stones with probably the worst PL shot-defending ever, beyond shocking! No ability to do anything meaningful against any sort of organised defence, no ability to control the game, conceding from any possible situation and willingness to surrender at the first push, this team together with its manager is completely gone.

Gabriel did annoy me but come on, after we scored this season Haaland did leather a ball off his bonce which we all found hilarious. Of course he was going to be up for it today, it was on our players to match their energy and desire which we fell well short. There is a lot more things closer to home than complaining about one of their gobshite players.
Difference is Haaland is a winner and Gabriel's a loser. Otherwise I agree completely.

100%. A nobody who was booked at ours before he even made his debut. The whole club is dillusional.

So when we equalise in the last seconds Haaland can leather a ball off his hand from behind him and that's alright because he is a winner? I loved it don't get me wrong but if we can dish the shithousery out then we have to take it in return.

Some are forgetting we are making the same mistakes over and over again, and playing the same way nothing is changing,we look worse than peps first season, lack of energy and drive and desire, yes we expected a drop off after what we have won over the last number of years, but for me it goes further than that, something isn’t right behind the scenes..
Keep saying the same thing mate.

Teams all over Europe in every division have been recruiting players and learning how to play against peps style...

They've caught up.
It was never going to last forever.

Injuries are a bollox excuse.
Player recruitment is a bollox excuse...

It's all down to tactics and how we are being drilled to play.

"Opposition teams have caught and surpassed us"..

The truth is in the gravy..

Every game tactically.

Fair do's in answering

But it's not a guaranty that even your tactics would of succeeded due to the lack of quality in this set of players we have

Again any side in this league (Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, United and Spurs setc) would of struggled with the amount of injuries massive key players even the mighty Pep
The thing isn't about quality we know how much quality each player has as we've been watching them in this system the last 4 seasons and it's been brilliant.

The current crop do not have the legs to play his way. We can all see that surely. Some don't even have the technical ability to play his way.

So let's dial it back. Try not to be smart with anything. Shore up our leaky defence and when teams lose it in our half we go at them with directness and pace. With haaland up top and being fed that ball over the top, in behind we will score. My tactic has less emphasis on the control possession, more play to the players strengths we currently have. If in the summer we break the bank for some highly technical players in the ilk of musiala, wirtz, or whoever then we go back to his ways.

But it's clear that the current system isn't fit for the squad of players we currently have. Nunes has had the season of bedding in, and he's no further forward and is being played at right back now. Trying to do a Delph on him. But frankly it's not working. Lewis, may come across as a tidy footballer, but apart from that what does he bring. He dosent whip a cross in at pace, isn't strong defensively. He's only playing because he can move inside and fit his system. Apart from that offers very little. Which is a shame as I wanted him to do well.

We've seen from the dippers and the arse they've given their youth players a chance and they've grabbed their chance by the bollocks. Why haven't we done the same with mcatee, o'reilly, etc in our current situation they can't do any worse can they...

I don't disagree. My point is purely that one is a winner and the other is a loser.

I think a few players have been told they're going at the end of the season and this has caused some unrest in the camp. Too many not putting 100% in anymore, that's my view fwiw

Never was a legend for us anyway, today cemented that. Raheem was the most frustrating player I’ve ever seen at the Etihad and I’ll let you know why, I remember even in his prime, he’d score a brace vs Bournemouth, but then would come up against a teenage Reece James or a 21 year old Wan Bussaka and be the worst player on the pitch 0 goals in 25 vs Man United btw. When you needed him to deliver, 90% of the time he’d freeze. That guy let us down in so many big games it’s actually crazy. KDB literally provided him with a career with the amount of tap ins he provided and then he had the audacity to ask the club on a raise on his 330k per week contract because KDB was on more than him.
131 goals for us. Could be frustrating but can't argue with his goal record - we could do with a support act in the side - Phil apart - who could deliver those numbers. Kev and David brought out the best in him - David with those half turn perfectly weighted passes for Raheem to run onto or those raking diagonals from Kev. Their service forced him to run - hence the tap-ins. Did the decision making for him. When he didn't have that service, he tended to hesitate or run down blind alleys. The drop off started about eighteen months before he left us - probably around the age of 26/27. He would have been 28 or so when he left us - normally a player's peak. He relied on pace, but wasn't losing it when he left us. In ten years time when he's doing some 'In my day......' tv show reminiscing about his career, what's he gonna say 'Pep made us feel that anything and everything was possible, then I went to Chelsea and Arsenal, and couldn't get a game'?
