Surprised no one has posted about how good he was tonight. He was my MOTM. He made a number of big stops and the team seemed to have a lot more confidence and impetus afterward. His passing was also great, even if he wasn’t playing as many direct long passes as he did against Chelsea.
He's awesome. Delighted to see him looking more positive than a few months back.

To each their own opinion, of course, but I do think many are underestimating his contribution to the result, which does seem to happen quite often with Eddie (though, I suppose that is common for keepers, to be fair).

Regarding the potentially game-saving block (given the circumstances) that was eventually flagged offside, the replays indicated that had they scored it could have stood as it was actually a very tight call.

Luckily he made sure VAR couldn’t intervene.
People expect keepers to save far more than is physically possible, so are gong to play down “mundane” saves.

He was called upon numerous times last night and did everything required of him. 5 shots on target, 1 goal that wasn’t his fault.

Sincerely hope it's just injury. Today has confirmed his worth to us.
Id like to see Ederson as our keeper but the goals we conceded today were ones that Ederson wouldn't have kept out.
His distribution may have been better but I think neither keeper are up to anywhere near the standard of Raya, Allison, Donnarumma, Courtois.

His distribution would have avoided the opening goal and the constant nerves after.

Ederson saves that third and everybody in the league saves the 5th.

The opening goal had nothing to do with Ortega.
Stones passed it to Akanji who lost the ball
He should have gone longer in my opinion In the early stages. Yes, a dreadful ball by Stones. I know what you are saying though. I just think Ederson is better overall.
