Both not company cars...
Probably my Fiat Punto, cracking little car, did everything asked of it and more and it was surprisingly reliable, had done 120k when I got rid. Makes you wonder where Fiat went wrong in the supermini section of the market as all-round it seemed a better car than the equivalent Fiesta or Corsa.
At the opposite end, my Audi A6 3.0 TDI quattro, built like a tank, effortless to drive and had every conceivable comfort on it. Bought it nearly new as an ex demo (loaded with options) with a few thousand on the clock and only got rid after an idiot in a hire van smashed into the front of the car (he was charged with driving without due care). At the time it had done 165k miles and not missed a beat.
Must admit I do find the latest batch of modern cars a little uninspiring, I have had my fair share of cars but I really dont like any of the new stuff. My wife still has my old 2018 S5 which is a good car, but by no means trouble free (haldex problems but now fixed with a new controller), god knows what to get next as there is nothing (in the sensible money price range) that I like. Through work I have an electric Audi Etron GT and its OK, looks nice, its quick in a straight line but its just soulless.
