Interesting thing about Gonzalez Xavi first saw him as the Busquets replacement then realised he was too attacking/attack minded, went with Frenkie instead with Gavi and Pedri as the midfield.

Yep i was being harsh but I believe it's been hinted by people with connections at City that these acquisitons were Viana's targets for the summer but we've brought them forward to this window gone.

Two great signings for me, both huge talents and for me Khusanov has that certain X factor.

And with Marmoush and Gozo, 4 players that are hugely talented, hungry, athletic and the future, exactly what this squad has needed for a long time.

It's become really clear they are clashing over what is needed in the squad.

In fact I doesn't appear like Pep wanted any of the January signings. You can see it from the way he talked , the club got me young centre backs , the club said they needed Marmoush etc .

Then on the offensive lately saying he doesn't want all these players, that his team are incredible in training etc

Strange times.

Not sure there’s any conflict but if there is then the manager will be moving on. The club will have bought those players in with this in mind. Again I’m not sure there’s really owt in the story.

I think you're reading too much into things because they haven't all been regulars.

A lot of our main signings over the previous 8 years have been in the £50-75m bracket. Prices for top players have also gone up, but we've bought inexperienced players for way less.

Nobody should expect them to go straight in and be regulars ahead of players who have been winning-machines. And we all know Pep likes players to understand his way of playing, which takes time. Give them time.
