Despite our differences I'm sure every City fan will be cheering on Arsenal against those shithouses Newcastle tonight.

City fans will be packed into Mary D's tonight, bellowing 'Nooorrrfff Laaanndaaannn Forevvveerrr' before kick off, with nary a dry eye in the house. Nothing will ever replace the love they have for their beloved team in blue, but all City fans have a second team, those magnificent men in red, the Mighty Arsenal.

Whenever one of the brave soldiers in red hits the deck after a brutal assault from those thugs in black and white, all blues will be imploring the referee to check on the wellbeing of the wounded Arsenal player. 'Please be okay, Dear God please protect him' wail the South Stand faithful. 'God bless Arsenal'.

And God will indeed bless Arsenal, because God is of course an Arsenal fan, fashioning the team in His own image

All across Manchester, small boys in their Sky Blue shirts will ask 'Daddy, one day can I get an Arsenal shirt?'.

'Not yet son. Not until you're a man. But when that day comes, when you've proven yourself to be the head of the house, to navigate the family through any strife life throws at it, then that day you'll be worthy of the red shirt'.

'I promise I'll study hard at school, I'll play lots of sports and eat only the healthiest food and then that day will come when I can wear the cannon proudly on my breast. That day will come won't it Daddy?'

'I hope so son. I hope so'.

And now the hangover.

Beating a below par Man City and acting like their the greatest is all very nice.

But with the money they’ve spent its all about the trophies.

Looks like it could be yet another season without one.
