Leyton Orient (A) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Should have been more comfortable with the penaly and the blatant red card. Cheltenham were better a few seasons back and didn't resort to dirty tactics to level the playing field. I wasn't too impressed with Leyton Orient to be honest
Shame they didn't just rollover for us and have their tummy tickled...

Firstly, really pleased to have won a tricky game against determined, well orgined but dirty opponents. The ref was a diabolical disgrace, firstly allowing their goal after Gonzales was taken out, failing to book several Orient players then waving his card at McAtee after the first tackle made by a City player.
Keowns commentary was completely outrageous. What a prick he made of himself! Utterly biased, ill informed, and at times outright foolish. Hope he never has the honour of commenting on one of our games again the monkey faced tosser.
Very disappointed for Gonzales. Getting taken off injured on his debut just prior to the Madrid game could be disastrous for us if the injury is a long term one. Let’s hope for him, and for City, it’s not too serious.
Love to draw the dirty rags in the next round and absolutely batter them. Cmon City !

Nothing like Palmer imo, Palmer showed glimpse of brilliance, McAtee looks ordinary so far.
Not sure I saw much brilliance with the first team, that being said my point was basically that the pair of them were mostly on the periphery of when playing first team.

I have just googled the Orient manager, Wellens, from Manchester, worked his way with the Rags youth team AND he has managed Rat Face Neville’s Salford. He s obviously a rag through and through and really wanted to put one over us today, wouldn’t surprise me if there was some pre-mediation in the González injury. I think I hate him!
It gets worse, according to the commentator he has a rag season ticket.

Perhaps Keown can explain to us how much the £800 million worth of new signings his beloved Tarquins have won since Arteta started spending the sponsorship money from Rwanda and the interest free owner loans now deemed illegal under PSR.

Constantly contradicting himself too, spouting off that Gonzalez wasn't fouled for their goal then 5 minutes later using his medical knowledge to tell us he thought the injury to the same player was picked up when he was fouled for the same challenge.
It was the 10 minutes of hearing 40 year old Pratts story then 5 minutes later called him 39 year old Pratt. Fucking amateurs and pissing me off that I pay for the c#nts

He was a year below me at school (north Manchester for boys), he went through uniteds ranks then kicked out for over turning his mates car. He was always in the bookies on Broadway in new moston.

He has that certain rag arrogance about him which creates an instant dislike.

What an absolute shitshow of a post.

Well done City. Took a hit in the 1st half but refused to go under, stayed calm and ran out deserved winners in the end. We weren't at our best but Grealish, Rico, Savinho, Khusanov had good games in a match where everyone showed up.

Once you get to the 5th Round you start looking at the sides who are left in and wonder if you can win it. I think City are going to get stronger as the season goes on because there are a number of outstanding young players coming through including Echeverri

Keiwn also said, when Nico fouled one of their players, that it was a Rodri tyoe tactical foul. Not a Partey one or a Rice one.

Job done - none of the fringe players really did enough but I thought Kusanov looked decent. I also felt the short cameo from Nico showed he will be good for us.

The ref was shite and let them get away with some nasty tackles. But I guess it's what the FA cup is about and they get the payday.
...
By the standard of Lee Mason at Cardiff, ref today had a blinder.
