I remember last season, and many have forgotten, how poster after poster called for him to replace Walker because he was, for some time, significantly better, especially moving into midfield and even the attacking areas of the pitch. Now, for reasons unbeknown to me, in a team filled with underperforming players through injury, illness, and absence, he is the one singled out by so many whom, in my view, should know better and should remember that he is, as yet, a prospect making his way in the professional game at the absolute elite level.
