What have you seen from the players not in the starting XI in recent months other than delivering embarrassing results every other week that made you feel optimistic until you seen that they are on the bench?

By giving the new lads a start and Mcatee a chance. I would be much more optimistic.

If we really believe these players are our future then surely they should start. The experience they would get from the remaining games this season will do us and them a world of good come next season.
