There’s no excuse for that pass with a man of his experience. He’s not solely to blame for the loss, but we’ve seen our players make far to many mistakes that lead to a goal this season.

Made a few really good saves. And not even particularly arsed about the shot coming back off him for the second. But that drop kick was fucking dreadful, at a moment when we just needed a bit of composure from the experienced players to see the game out. Inexplicable. Ortega wasn't in the net. Come on fella, I've been a big fan of his but without his feet he's just an average keeper now.

We would have still lost with Ortega. A decent point has been made in the post match thread about the GK coaches but again it is not solely down to that either. Perhaps age is catching up with Eddy and we should consider moving him on in the summer?
