PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Why is this not more of political issue ?

We know that clubs are in a fight with HMRC

We know that there was no investigation into Liverpool re hacking. I don’t just mean in a league sense but a criminal sense.

A lot of Chelsea stuff moves into politics given the Russia element

United finances coming into politics given the stadium.

Our finance comes into politics given the owners background and even the stadium.

We now have a group of labour MPs who are not toffs surely some of them watch football we have football clubs that are a major part of local economy and widely spread all over the land

I still hope that when all this is over we get a full explanation from the higher ups and also answers on Liverpool hack and stadium and Chelsea but I don’t suppose we will

It's also completely irrelevant. Anyone who takes the uninformed views of other fans, especially the uninformed view of rival clubs' fans, seriously over the carefully crafted views of people who know what they are talking about on here is taking balance and "impartiality" to an illogical extreme.

Of course fans of other clubs are enjoying this, of course they want to see us punished, of course some of them are trying to make a name for themselves on social media by telling the rest of them what they want to hear.

But the balanced thing to do isn't to give them comparable weight to actual reasoned analysis, but to address each of their childish and simplistic points and build the compelling arguments against them into your own thought process.

There are few people who have taken the time to understand the legal, accounting and business implications of the "115" allegations and most of them, not surprisingly in view of the importance to the club, are on here. I have said many times that the best analysis of the situation anywhere is on here, in this thread.

By all means disagree with the analysis available on here. But giving equal weight to the bullshit spouted by rival fans and equating their uninformed tribal bias with the serious analysis that you can find in here is, quite frankly, insulting.
Out of interest why are you telling me this, I don't disagree with it but it would surely be more pertinent to send it to the guy I was replying to tbh

It was City's call re the hacking.

Imo...they made a nieve error of judgement in not holding little woods to public account and scrutiny.

The way this seasons going we’re going to be found guilty in a few weeks
It’s ok Pep didn’t pick our legal team.

A game on the pitch has nothing to do with a legal tussle. We could be winning every week but still lose the case!

As long as we don’t think the case is won at the last min and start passing briefs about sideways and backs ways then sideways again nor bring in a junior to replace Pannick we should be ok -:)

Oh yes, sorry. It wasn't really aimed at you, but at everyone reading the thread really.

I was just trying to reinforce your point. A bit clumsy, I suppose ....

We'll bring Pannick in and DONT put him on the bench ;)

so are we expecting anything on this by end of this month maybe?

if its really bad outcome I would fully expect it to be public 2 days before the Liverpool game lol.

with our recent actions in transfer window, Haaland new contract, Pep new contract, I bet we got positive feedback from Pannick and co on how the hearing went and how well we rebuffed the charges. that doesnt mean the panel does the right thing tho, we have to wait and see.

End of this month would be quick, imho, end March at the earliest for me.

Did pep not say the “sentence” will be delivered in a month? So unless he is talking bull again which is a possibility I would hope we don’t have to wait until the end of March. These last few weeks will be a slog waiting for the news to drop.

Need something to cheer us all up after the on-field daily collapse.
