Stop Crying Your Heart Out Rodri Banner

Agreed, thought it was extremely raggish and a huge fucking jinx aswell.
Hardly a jinx, we’ve been fucking shit for ages now and any half decent team (and in some situations not even that) are tearing us apart and winning games at the death. I don’t think anyone was surprised we lost last night.

Why lot let people have a bit of fun? There’s fuck all else to laugh about this year.

The reality is that they outplayed us, and what we can certainly say for sure is that it certainly didn’t get under his skin. If it did make any difference at all, it probably helped him play better if anything. The whole thing was cringeworthy.
Except they didn’t outplay us.

We paid, as we continue to pay, the price of maintaining exceptionally high levels over a prolonged period. They scored one fluke goal (Mbappe’s shimmer) and capitalised on two errors that we seem prone to in the last five minutes.

They no more outplayed us than the rags did.

‘I saw the banner from Man City fans - and it motivated me even more,’ Vinicius said. ‘Whenever rival fans do things, it gives me more strength to play a great game.’

TBH, I didn'think he played that well last night, bar from the odd run, and his shot that hit the bar. If that was his motivated performance, I'd hate to think how he plays every game in La Liga.

Then again, he's always been an emotional person, who spits his dummy out when he doesn't get his way on and off the pitch, or when he didn't get the Ballon d'Or he said he deserved.

Great fucking banner! :-)

He was the best player on the pitch. We couldn't handle his pace or trickery all night.

I thought he was bang average and gave the ball away plenty. Pretty stunned to see he got man of the match.

He clearly saw the banner as he was laughing as the camera panned on him during the anthem.

brilliant banner, not going to criticise one of the few references to Manchester within the stadium, i can think of a dozen things worse than that last night. The way we are going we will be seeing banners in Mandarin before English soon.

We need to take a look at ourselves internally this season, heads down and focus on climbing the table. Support the team, absofuckinglutely but we are nowhere near the level to be pointing jibes to our rivals that’s just d!ckhead behaviour.
Why do we have to be playing well to have a go at Real Madrid walking out of the Balon d’or saying they were insulted?

There’s no logic there at all.

Yet we all hated and were arsed about the 34 year ticker banner. It's amazing how a few words on large piece of cloth can effect fans.
Bit different. That was a club sanctioned banner displayed for many years aimed at rubbing our noses in the prolonged lack of success. Ours was a one off calling out of spoiled entitled behaviour and a refusal to show any hint of grace.

I think it reflects the feeling in the club that we have started to actively target other teams with banners in the stadium

Perhaps Bourne out of frustration of a poor season and the charges still hanging over our heads

We had ‘you’ll never win four in a row for the rags’ , and now this one

I prefer the ones that celebrate our team rather than digs at the opposition

The I’ll follow you everywhere one was great against Arsenal when we beat them 4-1 , backing the team and latching onto a chant from the stands that season

Was yesterdays a club effort or from the 1894 ?
