Russian invasion of Ukraine

He’s right if it were attacked by a major foe with vast military capabilities.

Russia currently is neither. It has demonstrated its strategic incompetence and lack of professional military personnel and hardware.

Today, a European Alliance force would finish them off.
What if Russia was being backed up and supplied by its new US ally.
I think Europe needs to prepare for that.

I don’t know what to make of this Senator Graham yesterday the US want the minerals.
Personally I think it’s a risky move to give your inheritance to the US.?

Why the fvck would you trust Trump anymore than Putin?
America is not to be trusted it seems.
What kind of ally says “what’s in it for me?” before helping.

Right now it feels like the Trump-administration believes they have more in common with Russia, than they have with us and Ukraine. That scares me, to be honest. We, as europeans, must stick together and forge our own path. I don’t want to live in a world where Trump tells me what to do, no more than I want to live in a world where Putin tells me what to do.

It is genuinely scary, but yes, this US regime supports Russia and the European far right.

Vance didn't even meet Scholz but did meet the AFD.

It's hard to believe and hard to accept but that's the reality. We need to deal with it seriously, and stop pretending it isn't happening.

Trump will try and blackmail us to spilt Britain from Europe next, just watch.

Agree on your last point and hoping Starmer does the right thing and sides with Europe.

Vance’s actioned confirmed to me that they don’t want to see Europe in a good place, they’d rather have it struggling than competing with them. We’ve also been a huge thorn in Russia’s side and all can now see where this administration is aligned.

Musk with his free speech bollocks, wanting Tommy Robinson to lead the Reform party, says a lot about their thinking. Add all the confusion they’ve sowed around the world, they will try to use chaos to bring everybody else down.

It appears that the current us administration are all for ceding territory when ruSSia puts a claim on it. As I recall, nit too long ago, ruSSia stated that they wanted Alaska back. As this was originally ruSSian land are the us going to give it back? There is little difference in the claims on Ukrainian land and Alaska.
