Doku, Savinho, Nunes, Marmoush should be playing as many games as possible because they are actually... wait for it... mobile.

The rest of the lads are .... not.

I think we missed him yesterday, we needed the threat and chaos on the press and he and Phil seem to work better together than Sav and Phil. It’s not coming from elsewhere. Not sure I’d have put him on in the dying embers and guess he’s not fit yet to come on earlier. Hopefully back for the weekend.
The rest of the team is in a state of chaos at the minute so really Doku is a good for us right now. At least he's erratic and error prone when trying to make things happen going forward I suppose.

I’ve been hoping he can be more clinical and less selfish in the final third, but I’m just not convinced at this point. Savio looks like he’s improving in both regards and Bobb was on that trajectory before the injury. Add in his own injuries and it’s hard to see the point in keeping him when we should probably be able to get a decent fee for him.
So you don’t think Doku has been showing a lot of signs of improvement this season? The Forest game for instance and his last 2 starts! The lad has unbelievable natural ability that very few players have. Yes, we all know the areas he needs to improve but at 22 time is on his side. The worry with Doku is the same with 3 quarters of our squad that he can’t seem to stay fit to put a run of games together

He’s improved but not at the rate some would hope for in his second season with us. The fitness issues aren’t unique to him since our defenders are rushed back and players like Grealish are expected to go full tilt after hardly getting a run of games.

I’m just saying from a business standpoint, might make sense to cash in. We have young prospects in Savio and Bobb, but we need proven goal scoring wingers because Haaland has been carrying the load far too much and far too long and it’s only a matter of time until he’s out for a period.

You guys are not recouping what you paid for Doku... That fee was based on potential, and given that he hasn't improved at all, there is nobody that would pay the same or more.

Doku in midfield isn't a bad idea at all.. he is strong and impossible to get the ball off him!

Nice to see him healthy!

Personally, I think the Marmoush role of an inverted LW playing near the striker might suit Doku.

While he can do the wide winger role, like Savio, he typically isnt obsessed with creating.

He really wants to score goals, this role works well for him, especially if Gvardiol holds the width.

Why? He's one of our only direct players. I'm bored of Bernardo & Grealish stopping still & holding the ball for 30 seconds then passing it to Gvardiol or Akanji.

We need to start Doku more.
Personally think he’s gash mate. Another winger who doesn’t score, haaland clearly doesn’t like playing with him. Off the ball he’s questionable, decent dribbler though. You think a team like Madrid would ever be concerned coming up against him? Tottenham level signing.

Hopefully another that goes in the summer
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But I'm leaning towards the not good enough camp at the minute.

He's erratic. Loses possesoon very easily. Offers little protection to his full back and his quality in the final third is average.

Plus another one who looks like he will spend more time on the treatment table than the pitch.

He's does a mint shimmy and a few stepovers though. And he's got a good FIFA goal celebratiion. When he eventually bags one.

Least of our worries. Offers something different and has looked very good lately. Obvious problem is his injuries but that’s just like most of our squad.

Good lately, When? Seems to be constantly injured. Granted, he isn’t an immediate priority but having attackers who just don’t score is one of the big problems imo.

Should be pushing for consecutive starts and playing out the full 90 minutes in the coming weeks. Sterling also had problems when he first arrived, but late in his second season he was regularly playing full games. Expect Doku to start showing that now.
