I attended a lot of those meetings. We had the manager sometimes. Players and officials from the club.
There were things discussed that did affect people not attending
Off the top of my head sizing of items in the club shop, introduction of more items for female members, food choice. There were discussions on different ways of distributing tickets.
The one I remember best is when Mancini attended and in response to a question about the 32 years banner with barely a pause saying he would drive a bus over the Mancunian Way to tear down the banner with us.
They were good, interesting meetings. IMHO
stopping arresting persistent standers like me. No one got arrested for it ever again.
Thank me later.

From an outsiders perspective I thought atmosphere was good today. First half particularly impressed noticeably quieter second half but that reflected the game which was over by then.
best of luck in the carabao fella.
I"v always had a soft spot for the northeast folk, salt of the earth imho.

Go and beat the Scousers at Wembley.

:)

I’m not sold on wordplay around the number 115. It smacks a little bit of “we do what we want”. I think that Masters slogan goes straight to the bigger picture.

Imo it's a bit to subtle for the cretins....kick them right in the bollocks with a sturdy boot !!

I’ve always thought we should be making more of this message. It’s perfect.
Why ask the clubs permission? Do a few and put them up on the railings outside the South Stand. Get enough fans there when they go up and tell the police and stewards to do one if try to take them down. If there was any issues it would only garner more publicity for the banners.

Really good today. I thought the Geordies were in good voice as well, although the 3 quick goals took the wind out their sails a bit.
Georgies ( they detest that ) are full of their own mythology.

The came full of bullshit bravado and went home broken and mute.

City took them apart on the pitch and took the piss off it.

"Empty seats away, City tearing Georgies apart again, Your support is fucking shit" will have stung them as much if not more than the defeat.

They really are a giddy, deluded lot as their trophyless history confirms !!

Nice of you to say so, personally I thought it was a bit quiet.

The positive about our home support is the quantity of chants and the number of different chants, both of which I think we are best in the league by miles (a big chunk of them get copied after a year or so, by the line of Newcastle).

However where I think we are worst in the league is the number of people who join in the singing. I would say 80% never do, 90% rarely do, and that’s pathetic/apathetic.

I honestly think grounds like SJP are quiet most of the time BUT when a song gets going the majority of the supporters join in, your majority fan base is much less apathetic than ours, and when you sing it’s fucking loud.

Also credit to your away support yesterday, not the loudest I’ve hear it but you got beaten 4 0, and you kept going second half, fair play Chris

Finally you absolutely deserve to beat the dippers in the LC final, long overdue, and would be a crime against humanity if they win it

Songs were going right round the stadium all game yesterday. There were probably fewer chants came from the singing areas but the ground took them up, mostly. I thought it was good overall.

Totally agree on Newcastle beating Liverpool. If they do it they’ll feel like we did in 2011. No big club glory hunter can ever feel that

Quantity not the problem, maybe 80% not joining in is high but the majority doesn’t.

How do you know they are non-City fans?
Aside from the one that was a Spanish Madrid fan, with a Madrid phone wallpaper who celebrated only the Madrid goals, the others had half and half scarves, were on their phones all game and celebrated each teams goals.

If I told you they weren’t from Manchester I assume you’d accuse of me something wouldn’t you?

I couldn’t care less where somebody is from, if they’re a blue they’re a blue. These fans were not blues.
