Our away end sounded mint today. I wonder why its not like this when are playing at Anfield, Emirates etc
Probably because the tickets are getting the hands of tourists at dippers and Arsenal. An away game at Leicester is less fashionable and proper fans will be able to get a ticket. Our away end sounded mint today. I wonder why its not like this when are playing at Anfield, Emirates etc
If only someone at the club took notice.Probably because the tickets are getting the hands of tourists at dippers and Arsenal. An away game at Leicester is less fashionable and proper fans will be able to get a ticket.
This and the acoustics are far better at the King Power which always makes a big difference.Probably because the tickets are getting the hands of tourists at dippers and Arsenal. An away game at Leicester is less fashionable and proper fans will be able to get a ticket.
And the away fans are closer to the commentators, assuming they are perched near the cameras. Like at Goodison and Palace. This and the acoustics are far better at the King Power which always makes a big difference.
Another example of the insidious creep of snowflakes into our game. Can't agree with that.
When you can't get tickets to be with your mates, you have half n half scarfs sat around you. They bring no atmosphere in fact on one occasion I was asked to stop singing ' we never win at home' because it had fuck in it, the parent didn't want her son hearing it. This was in the top level SS for fuck sake lol
I understand your point and its logic.Unfortunately you're always going to get people who are less interested in creating an atmosphere and more interested in standing on the barrier drooling over the away fans.
I do agree with most of what you say, but I'd personally like us to try and put everything into making the North Stand a proper home end, and if there's enough demand for it after a season or two, then we could look at transforming SS2/SS3 into a 2nd home end.
Just out of interest wrt your master plan to create a “commanding SSL2/3” what are you proposing to do with the 2 blocks of Legends Lounge hospitality seats slap bang in the middle of SSL2? Do you think the club will move the Legends Lounge?I understand your point and its logic.
However, many of the guys i know want to stay in SSL3 due to travel logistics/ convenience.
Establishing a commanding SSL 3/2 whilst shifting away fans down to inferior seats with poor views and acoustics, will be an important first step in a 'Two End' atmospheric stadium.
Imo, NS will attract some fans from most other parts of the stadium ,with or without 1894s involvement, along with new ticket holders, subject to seating, prices and conditions being attractive and our team continuing to be attractive & successful.
Two ends are better than one !!
Indeed. Away end full of proper Blues. Our away end sounded mint today. I wonder why its not like this when are playing at Anfield, Emirates etc
